After a 9th move in, I TT 3 days, talk to one villager 10 times to see if there's any rumors of someone moving out. If not, I TT one day forward, talk another 10 times to a villager. If no rumors repeat.I hope you don't mind if I ask for your TTing method?
I am currently in a cycling thread cooperating with another cycler. I think my method is a bit ineffective, so I hope you don't mind if I ask for yours?
Thank you! ~

If there's a rumor, I go talk to the person. Save and quit, then walk to the person again and he/she will ping. I then TT to the date he/she is in boxes.
After the villager has been picked up, I proceed to TT 4 days forward again, and then TT one day at a time until Isabelle says someone new has moved in. Then I go 3 days forward again, and repeat the whole process.
So far I've not had a single accident, so this method is working really well for me C:
Never heard of I think c:Can I ask if you've heard of/use Sanasa's method?

I just wanted to chip in and say this is the method I use as well. I find it works well for me. In my main town with my dreamies, I usually try and walk around after speaking to the villager, just in case to see if anyone pings as a fail-safe.After a 9th move in, I TT 3 days, talk to one villager 10 times to see if there's any rumors of someone moving out. I am a bit confused...what do you mean by rumors? Are they specifically moving rumors, or just any? And what if there are two villagers in the rumor? What if there are no rumors?
Moving rumors. "I've heard Joey is toying with the idea of moving" as an example c:
the other rumors doesn't matter. Look out for the moving rumors
I do this when the villagers are taking a very long time to ping >_< and in a town where I'm afraid a dreamie will move.I just wanted to chip in and say this is the method I use as well. Ohh c: I got tips from other cyclers, and then modified it a bit and figured out a way that works for me.Ah okay, because his guide is how I learned the same method of cycling as you use :3
also, I'm going to go have christmas dinner I really hope I don't miss Genji T^T
Whew. Back and no sign of Genji leaving >w>
Nope. waiting for a 9th to move in again. They're starting to become slow when it comes to moving in! :c
You're welcome! I've not lost any villagers yet, but I'm sure no method is going to be 100% foolproof. There are always those stubborn villagers who won't start rumours and try to avoid you in town (they always seem to be on Main Street or in cafe/house etc).I do this when the villagers are taking a very long time to ping >_< and in a town where I'm afraid a dreamie will move.
Thank you for adding this! I totally didn't think of it since this is 100% cycling and no villagers are being kept at the moment. C:
I just checked it out and might use it! Its very easy to understand for me. :3

To stop this I TT a couple of hours later the same day, usually they'll be back outside then hopefully will ping. These extra steps take a lot longer, but I'd rather not take any chances on dreamies.
I'm glad my post helped.![]()
