I thought Marshal was the best smug villager there is but it's actually Lopez ;-)

Lopez is one of the original villagers in my new second town. I didn't expect to fall in love with him but his design is stunning and he fits the personality really well. I think I'll keep him here forever!

I would love to have him but I already have 4 deers and didn't want to overdo things. Lopez is an amazing villager, might even consider replacing Beau with him.

I'm not gonna lie i'm not a huge fan of the deer villagers, however Lopez is probably one of the few exceptions. I've had him in a couple of towns previously to my current one and I gotta say I do like him as a villager. I think his house is themed really nicely and I love what plays on the stereo when in his house. Apart from that i'm glad you've found a smug villager that you (possibly?) like more than Marshal, haha. I personally also prefer Marshal over most smugs and that's probably because ive had him for so long that I can't bear to let go of him. Other smugs that come close are Julian.

I used to have Lopez in my other town, but he moved out without telling me. He was a pretty great villager and I would love to have him in my town again. He's now my most favorite deer villager. (Sorry Deirdre)

YES, I used to have Lopez in my previous town. I've never been particularly fond of smug villagers but I loved everything about him. I was devastated when he moved out of my town and I think everyone in the neighbourhood heard me when I first saw him on Main St.
By far the best smug.

Lopez is much better than Marshal in my opinion. Lopez is one of the handsomest villagers. Marshal just seems plan to me.

My problem is that I like so many that I like too many villagers.

I genuinely like the Smugs. They have good hearts.

Smugs that I really like (in alphabetical order): Eugene, Hans, Jacques, Julian, Kidd, Kyle, Lopez, Marshal, Phil, Pietro, Rodney, Zell.

One Smug that I really haven't experienced (in a given town for any lengthy period of time): O'Hare. He is a good-looking rabbit. From time to time, I have seen forum members praise O'Hare.


Ah, but this all still comes down to one thing—personal taste.

I like the other smug deer better - Zell! Lopez is ok I'm just don't really like his design that much
(I don't like how some villagers have 5 o'clock shadows ,it looks really weird to me .)
Chadder is my favorite smug, I'm not really sure why, I'll admit I'm not too keen about most of the mice in AC, but Chadder has such a cute design a nice home interior.
Marshal, Marshal, Marshal! I'm so sick about hearing about him all the time! I used to like him a lot at one point, a few years ago. I thought maybe his popularly might go down after awhile, but nope I was wrong. I'm so sick having to see him in ever other dream town I go to, and just seeing and reading about him in general.
I wish there was a smug cat (maybe the Amiibo update may finally give New Leaf a smug cat. )

Lopez is definetly a cutie that I should've invited into my town but didn't!! (why me whyyy)
I just really like smugs (my fave probably being either Colton, Ed or O'hare) and I saw Lopez in my camp and I should've gotten him when I had the chance T_T
