Aaaa. Tough. They're all amazing villagers. Maybe get rid of Julian since they both have the same smug personality? I have two smugs and I find that their dialogue tend to overlap/mimic one another's quite a lot at times. I don't know how close the personalities of the snooties are but if they're all rather similar, then maybe Ankha would be the best villager to kick out.

Marshal, Ankha, or Julian?

I guess it really just depends on which one you like more visually? Since all of the personality types have repetitive dialogue.

Yeah, I agree. If you're equally not as attached to Julian or Ankha, then maybe choose the one that you don't like the look of as much or the one who least fits in with the theme of your town.
I did notice a more distinct personality difference between say Bob/Cole/Moe or Phoebe/Flo despite them coming from the same pool of villager personality though. Their dialogue didn't seem to mirror each other's all that much. Then again, I could just be extra sensitive to Graham's and Marshal's dialogue because I just tend to talk to them a whole lot.

Yeah, I noticed when I had 2 smugs (Marshal and Lopez) that their dialogue overlapped a LOT. It got kindof annoying, and I let Lopez move.
Aaaa, I thought it was just me! I love both Graham and Marshal lots but it does make it a bit 'blaah' when they both keep saying the same things. :S There's differences in their personalities (Marshal's flirtier, Graham's dorkier) but I wish their dialogue were more varied. Maybe one day when I get dead tired of it, I'll let one of them go.

Those with a "1" should be kept. For balance of personality categories, if important, to make room in the future for a Cranky.
So, I would take from the above categories with more than 1.
Also consider this:

What you would probably want to do, ultimately, is this: have "1" of each category. But select a male and a female personality category where you would have "2."
Usually,What I do to Balance My town is keep it at 5 boys, 5 women. Each of different personality types. With an exception of 2 smugs(Marshal and Julian)and 2 snooties,because there are limited personality types. Right now I want 1 more cranky or lazy,so I kick out the one who I don't like the most in the 2 snooties and 2 smugs. Its all up to you to decide though :3

I'm considering letting go of Nate and Ankha, and getting a cranky and Marshal. However, I love Ankha, and may get rid of Julian, as he was a good figurative dreamie, but now, in my town, I'm not sure.
