so its a rip off of "the speed gamers"??
How the hell is it a rip-off? It's not like either of them are a profit group. They donate all the money they get to charity.

No you *censored.1.2*. >_> They started Mario Marathon 1 before TSG even existed.

And why would you call them a rip off? They're doing it for charity. You don't want anyone to help charities except for TSG? That's sad.

I thought the topic was about speed gamers when I saw "mario marathon", too.

any live video game streaming = o.k. in my books. also, charity.

Whoa no need for language, maybe he didn't know it was for charity...?

Of course there's another end of the spectrum where he knew all of this.

Does it matter if they are copying another's idea (Not that they did) if it benefits others?
copyrighting charity ideas is serious business around these parts, apparently.

It's not a problem I'm just saying that having 2 mario marathons in a row is not usual and people may point fingers if they haven't heard of one of them.

Oh wow, that has a lot of viewers. I watched a zelda marathon done by another website over New Year's and donated 50 of the 12,000 dollars they eventually raised. They had two teams playing simultaneously through all console Zelda games.
