What’s something you used to enjoy but aren’t into anymore?

I LOVED looking at catalogs as a kid. But I think once I was a teenager, the interest fizzled out. Not because they came less, but because many of them had things I was no longer interested in. Though there are a few (like the ikea catalog) that I would still enjoy.

kpop 💔 i used to be so into it back in like 2018-2020, and i still am a casual listener but i lowkey haven’t been vibing with the new releases/new groups that have been debuting 😔

Lots of different food. Tastes have changed. I used to hate ham, but now I don't mind it so much. I used to love bologna, but now I can't stomach that greasy stuff.

I was OBSESSED with dinosaurs as a kid but now can’t remember all the names XD
lol same! That and planets/outerspace.

I would say games with long stories...like rpgs? There's so many now and the time commiitment scares me away from them. As a kid it didn't matter that they ate up so much time. We all had so much of that being carefree and all. But now with little time and responsibilities I want to play games that I can just get right into and have a little fun and stop when I need/want to.

That's why I love games that let you save anywhere. I don't care if it's 'hand-holding' I don't have time to burn through 2 hours to find some save spot.

If you still have a soft spot for rpgs, I played Live a Live a few years ago and it's the right amount of compelling and span for someone that doesn't have a lot of time. It has contained story arcs since the game follows different people in time periods. A shinobi in Edo Japan, a gunslinger from the west, A chibi robot in the future. Each arc is like 3 hours? has amazing voice acting, and is a 2Dhd from NES. It wasn't sure what to expect going in, but I loved it.

That actually sounds so good will check it out! I definitely need my rpg fix

Shonen manga. Idk if the quality of it has gone down or if I've outgrown it. I tried giving Dandandan a go, it looks just like something It's love but it just doesn't click with me

I used to be obsessed with anime but started hating it around the age of 13. I can only watch Ghibli movies nowadays. I also don't like the Internet in its current state because it's so corporate.

I used to love pop music as a kid, but I don’t actively listen to it anymore. Once 2020 hit, I was turned off by the garbage that was taking over the radio.

As a kid, I loved playing with toys. Once middle school hit, I got the message that “If you still play with toys, you’re a loser.” Even though I wasn’t quite ready to give them up, I didn’t want to feel like a loser. So I stored them in my closet. That’s where they sit to this day. I haven’t touched them in years.

My obsession with Animal Crossing is starting to wane.

A year ago, I was obsessed with Nirvana. If one of their songs came on the radio, I’d be hyped. But now, I’m listening to other bands. Granted, I still enjoy Nirvana. I just overdosed on them. If one of their songs comes on the radio now, I’m just like, “Huh. Cool.”

Going to concerts, I used to attend several concerts in a year and loved the ambiance and music but now people are just going to film or take photos. Paying to see countless of phones in my face and a tone-deaf screaming in my ears doesn't interest me anymore.

I watch less anime too. After watching them every day for a while, I started seeing the same things over and over and got tired with the fan service (especially in shonen). (Like close up of feet in stockings for instance). I'm also the kind to watch the whole thing even if it's bad, I should learn to drop instead and spend more time on the classics and really good ones.

I was just thinking about this the other day but Anime and art. I would like to get back into art but honestly I'd probably get bored of it real quick.
