Luck on Mystery Islands

Curious as to how lucky people have been on mystery islands, in terms of both finding rare islands/villagers.

I’ve been to around 120-150 islands I’d say, but only gotten Tarantula and hybrid island once. I’ve had bamboo and trash island a ton though.

In terms of villagers I’ve been fairly lucky I’d say, as I’ve found Fauna, Audie, and recently Sherb on islands and invited all of them.

Also found Stitches on my first island ever and have found Dom twice, but didn’t invite either one of them.

I’ve gotten the bamboo island a couple time’s and the one with the rocks all in the middle but otherwise it’s almost identical to my own place.

How did I not know there is a trash island.
I've found some good villagers on islands, but out of the ones I invited I only have Fauna and Whitney still on my island.
I've also found the hybrid flower island twice in the past, the bamboo island a bunch and the money rock island a few times.
I also found Sherb at one point who I didn't end up invited to my island.

My luck with finding rare/good islands is abysmal, but my luck with finding great villagers is amazing. I've only been to hybrid island once, and bamboo/money/tarantula island only a few times. However, I got Diana with 1 NMT and Marshal with 7 NMTs (the least and most NMTs I've spent while island hopping, so the other villagers I like and invited to my island I found with only a few NMTs).

Out of 30 tickets, I was able to land on the scorpion island that had the money rocks. One of them was the big fish island, but the others were the common ones. At least 3 of them were the bamboo islands. No hybrids or unique fruit from my native island.

In terms of villagers, there weren't any that stuck out to me, nor were they considered to be the "top tier" ones.

I've been sort of lucky? I've done very little islans hopping but found the bell rock island 2 times in like a week and also met Fauna and Skye on islands super early on while hopping for villagers to fill the first 3 plots. I also got Zucker but the Octopi are said to be common now I guess? Zucker is a dreamie though to that's luck to me!

I found Claude on the third trip to one of the mystery islands...unfortunately he was a starter lazy, so he has that ugly starter room. oh well..

I’ve found Judy, Freya, Fauna, Diana, Lolly, Audie, Poppy, Apple, Claudia, Octavian, Marshall, Dom, and probably others on mystery islands!

I went searching last night woth June the priority among my possible villagers I want. I found her after maybe 80 tickets. Not the luckiest but considering how hard it is to find certain gear cubs on an island I felt really lucky.

I love Beau he’s pretty popular as well. Punchy is really cool too

I dont ever go with a particular villager on my mind- I usually take 10 nmts when a plot opens and use them to find someone cute, which works really well for me. I've gotten skye, bianca, whitney, ketchup, melba, rolf and scoot, all of which I like. I think the odds would be absolutely ridiculous if I went looking for a specific villager, so I keep my options open.

I've been "lucky" in the sense of getting popular villagers - between my two islands I've found rosie, marina, lolly, fauna, freya, chrissy, and judy without burning through tons of popular villagers.
Lately though, I've been looking for a trash island, and have had exactly zero luck on that front.

I've gotten bamboo island tonnnns as well as water-bug island. I got hybrid Island twice, and tarantula island only once ^^;

I think I have used about 50 ish tickets? I can't really recall well

I've been pretty lucky! Found the scorpion island twice and the money/scorpion island twice too, as well as bamboo island many many times! Never seen the big fin island though, and only one hybrid (and now they're gone...)

As for villagers, I went hunting last week planning for a big day with no one in particular in mind, and found Raymond in 7 tickets, on a bamboo island! I found Molly at 3 tickets, it sucked to leave her so much but I already had a normal and I can only do one normal at a time hahah

I am not going into those islands to make Bells anymore. The luck factor is annoying. I really miss my nightly bug hunting sessions during New Leaf days.
