im not pulling up vanessa yet bc shes made one post lol, ye it was kinda scummy but theres plenty of chances for her to redeem herself. its better to pull up ppl with more content then make a long post about a few bandwagony comments imo.

Yeah, I get that most people find me kinda sus to. But to me, everyone besides her has done things that I make me think they're town (I remain cautious of Dad though), and she's the only person who's done something distinctly scummy imo. Yeah, she should get her chance to redeem herself, but for those reasons I'm gonna hold her feet to the fire

Punchy I townread you because of tone and because of your answer to Dolby as well as how you weren't reading ahead when you did answer it, as you responded to my annoyance with you answering #3 despite me telling people not to.

I also like Antonio this game. I'm still fresh from a scum game with him and he's the type of person who isn't excited to be scum so that's why I think he was struggling in the game I was in with him. This? If he were struggling he wouldn't be coming after me the way he is right now. Also Antonio, I have -tons- of town games to select from but if you want more recent ones, they'd be Call Ships to Port ( https://www.belltreeforums.com/show...ips-to-Port-Game-Thread-END-GAME-TOWN-VICTORY! ) and the Championship game on MU ( https://www.mafiauniverse.com/forum...MU-Emoji-Convention!!!-The-Mafia-Championship ). You asking for some town games as if you're about to read them is also telling, because you wouldn't put forward that effort in figuring me out as scum, even though I doubt you'll actually read them because of how massive they are.

Dolby I've made my notes on but will catch up with as I respond post by post.

But Vanessa I heavily dislike atm because of the one post that throws in a 'I agree with Dad that Dolby is underreacting'. I think if she doesn't provide more content by EoD that I would see this as Vanessa sitting back to see if I lead against Dolby to mislynch him, which is entirely possible here.

so u think dad is scum but he completely changed his scum playstyle but hes still scum, and ur only evidence is that he made an early accusation? like i agree that his reasons for sussing dolby r super dodgy, but it feels more like a town move than a scum move to me. this just feels like a noncommital first post thing to make it look like antonio has content.

Not only does this attack on Antonio feel opportunistic due to Antonio's skill level (which I think is improving this game if he actually puts forth effort to read my games) but it is the first moment I am seeing where Runeraider is actually townreading me despite calling me out on some stuff that, as I look back on it, I deserve to be called out for. But before Rune made this post I questioned Dolby on throwing some light sus on Rune for the 'wheels turning in his head' so I can see Rune thinking I townread him because I threw this line of questioning at Dolby, thus I read this as a possible moment of getting on my good side.

And then there's this moment:

bandwagon on the one player who brought up dolby as scummy? two if u count vanessa i guess, idk if i count that noncommital post by her as a sus tho. i havent seen antonio play in a while so idk how much credit to give him but im gonna assume he has the confidence as scum to make his own kinda opinion, esp if its a dolby antonio scumteam or smth like that.

o lol as soon as i say antonio/dolby team a post where dolby defends antonio pops up wow

followed by posts #67 and #69. It feels like backtracking on furthering an Antonio sus when Dolby comes in to defend him. I think Rune would realize that Antonio has never demonstrated this much confidence and effort as town and has gone after him for it and I think that he did it because he sees Antonio as a less-skilled player who can be mislynched, but he also has to try and justify why he's scumreading Antonio for it being uncharacteristic of him to use meta and characteristic of Dolby who already has heat on him. Maybe he actually thought he could convince the rest of town that this could actually be 2 v 4 with town-harming cards in play nonetheless.

Yeah, the way things are going, Vanessa is definitely the only sus person to me and the only justifiable lynch option.While I do kinda think that she might not have had a window of time to post in yet (me last game honestly), everyone else has been distinctly townie imo to the point that I would be extremely shocked if either Antonio or Punchy are scum

Punchy def not clear town because I do feel like his playstyle in general has changed since the one time that he was scum (russian roulette), but he is showing far more self-restraint now than there. In Russian Roulette he was doing everything in his power pull sus onto others and very reactionary to any mention of him, whereas here there's a few subtle differences. Punchy never made any effort to make townreads in Russian Roulette, and would use any oppertunity he got to try to justify a shot on the largest number of people. In comparison to there his reaction seems muted, which does make me townlean him

Anyways, I put a priest card on Vanessa because I'm curious on what she's packin and I don't see much of her. I haven't gotten my results yet but I don't know if it's now or during night.

Vanessa. Yeah, today is 100% going to end up being between me and her. She's made a grand total of 1 post, BWing onto sussing me. Most notably her bandwagon onto me was extremely cautionless, Runeraider and Punchy both expressed concern over the consequences for should I flip town because they felt like there should be a higher standard of proof. Vanessa displayed none of that caution and just straight bandwagoned onto Dad's sus on me. I'm gonna refrain from using meta here, given the lack of her posting thus far, but let's look at things
1. This sus is partly POE, every person so far except Vanessa has given me a reason to townlean them
2. Vanessa has been weirdly inactive and lurky, I've seen her multiple times viewing the thread without commenting
3. Her one post is honestly just bad, let's analyze it


Answers to RQS, kinda irrevelevant to the read but I don't like her non-answer to 3. She isn't taking Dad's advice here, but I also feel that she doesn't want to say anything that incriminates her in some way. Def my least conclusive point here.

Filler, seeking to be seen as contributing. The point is nonsense and she herself doesn't go to the liberty of stating her read on Punchy, moreover, scum wouldn't know about the card system either

First of all, Dad isn't scumreading me over it, he thinks that I slipped that I had the baron, which is a completely different thing from scumreading me over it. Second, this is just a weak attempt to get onto the wagon and doesn't add any new information or viewpoints to this. Third of all, where are you people getting that I fish for blues, I practically never do it, and everytime that I guessed sussed for bluesniping it's because blues actually die.

Moreover, the two concepts that she presents are incongruous and a poor attempt at feigning content, and tbh I'm not exactly sure how to say that it is. First, I there was no typo there, second, Baron and fishing does not neccessary equal bluesniping, as Dad himself said. Moreover, "are you scumreading me over a typo" is also never an appropriate response to being accused of bluesniping

Vanessa's contributions thus far have been the least extensive, the least original, and have had the least merit. While I am a bit concerned that I haven't given her enough time, the fact is I have solid reasoning to townlean at least every other player in the game As such

Also I never accused you of bluesniping? I was talking about how you have reacted to accusations in the past vs how you reacted to accusations now. The example of "the past" (past games) happened to be about bluesniping. The example of "now" is not about bluesniping. Obviously I know there is no bluesniping in this game.
