Island-hopping can be so exhausting. I used the campsite method to get Raymond. Luckier people have gotten him in hours but I spent 3 days doing it.

It really is lol I’m feeling a nap when I’ve found one I’m onto NMT 324 suuuurely not much long looool! Thanks for the words of encouragement

I did way WAY less trips than you did and wasn't even looking for a specific villager - just had a list of snooties and jocks I wanted.
Didn't come across a single one from my list and was really burned out by the end of it.
In the end I settled for Tasha, which I'm actually glad I did because she really grew on me.
I guess what I'm saying is sometimes a villager you may not have really wanted, could end up being THE one.
Good luck on the hunt though.

I’m going to once I’ve found either Raymond or Judy. Cause currently I don’t have a smug or snooty so will be ideal when I have one of them so only 1 type to specifically look for!

I’m now on NMT number 290 and still no sign of Raymond or Judy.. how long do I carry on until I cave and buy them from someone else {I’ve taken breaks etc but feel like I just want it over with.. won’t be Island hopping for a longtime after this LOL}

edit: I’ve seen Zucker 8 times and other villagers up to 6 times! Probably at least 70 tickets have been duplicates

Don't give up! That's all I can say.

(I am getting cold feet when thinking about my turn.)

Well some words of encouragement for you it willlll happen! Maybe even earlier for you (fingers crossed) but if it’s a villager you really want honestly go for it! I got a lottttt of duplicate recipes and furniture from shaking trees that I can sell to make my NMT back! Thankyou so much <33
