Looking for friends to help me figure out what to do with my island.

So being new to NH I am slowly catching up on how this particular game works (I've owned them all but never play this one). If you have tips and tricks for me that would be very helpful.

Pinterest is a good source of ideas for islands. Cottage, Kiddie, Castle Tropical, Natural, Japanese, Cyberpunk, Urban, and all sorts of island themes (put core at the end of them). Here's some cool ones I came across on Pinterest.
