Town of Okinawa:
I'm so glad you chose to update during the night, as it was the ideal backdrop for the dark blue water tiles you laid down -- it even appeared that the stars were reflected on the water's surface. Very nicely selected QR codes indeed, plus I got to indulge my sweet tooth with those gifts you left which is always an added bonus!
Karen's house: Ahh, I've been wanting that jungle wall for ages! The main room had a kind of Rainforest Cafe vibe about it, which is something that I definitely have not seen before, so major props for that. I loved the deeper shade of green that you chose for the green furniture, and the peacock chairs were an excellent match as well. I see that kept the same jungle motif in the second room as well, but the furniture gave it more of a recreational sort of feel. Your kitchen was fully decked out with all the necessities - and wow, how did you get those two-tone walls?! Your bakery/cafe was so neat - what impressed me even more about it was the fact that you created it without having to use a single piece from the sweets series. Very original! The upstairs bathroom looked very relaxing and a nice symmetry going on. Nice tunes as well!
Tina's house: The sushi bar in the main room was so well-organized (like so many of your rooms). Really got a kick out of that funny little raccoon statue who greeted me at the door with his conical straw hat on! I really liked the song you selected for your 7-11 room, so upbeat and lively! I was very amused to see Samus as the cashier as well: a mild-mannered 7-11 clerk by day, an intergalactic bounty hunter by night! The outdoorsy back room was really cute as well -- that wildflower floor is one of my favorites. I might suggest using another song, only because the same one was playing in the 7-11 room. The dig-site room was quite nifty as well -- K.K. Adventure always makes me feel as though something epic is about to happen! The basement was quite unlike anything I've seen before too -- sort of like being in a nuclear power plant. Very cool! The upstairs library was very refined and elegant in its simplicity.
Katelyn's house: The main room really knocked my socks off straightaway. The wallpaper and carpeting combo was just spot-on; it completely captured the Japanese essence that you were going for. The room to the left had a really laid-back modern vibe, and seemed like a cool place to unwind and chill. Very nice seeing the cabana and Pave sets on display (those two are notoriously difficult to complete!) -- had to do a doubletake when I saw the six and nine lamps so mischievously juxtaposed, hehe. The gorgeous set looked very nice as well; I really appreciated the lack of clutter (which happens all too often in my own rooms!) The upstairs room was very rustic, and again, perfectly matched. Unique is the word that springs to mind yet again, and I mean that in the very best sense of the term.
Your paths were beautifully laid out, as were your floral arrangements. You had tons of gorgeous hybrids, and I loved the rainbow configurations that were used in sections of your town. The triple row of illuminated arches were breathtaking, and the myriad stump designs were delightful. You had a really diverse assortment of different public works projects, yet they all seemed to contribute to the overall theme in a cohesive way, and your villagers were excellent to boot. This is a town I'd definitely like to visit again!
