Town of Meldon:
I really liked the tiles that you used in your town -- I can't recall ever having seen them before which gave me cause to believe that some (if not all) of them may have been custom made. The Super Mario style bricks by your blue bench were a really cool throwback, and the train tracks that ran down the length of your town were very realistic looking. Adding the traffic signal was a very clever idea as well! I was really impressed with the number of golden roses that you cultivated, and you had a lot of cool characters as far as your neighbors went. You had plenty of trees and bushes planted which gave your town a healthy and thriving atmosphere, and flowers abounded in nearly every open plot of grass.
Falcon's house seems like it's mostly being used for storage at this point, but your mayor's house is really coming together. Very neat idea using the number lamps in your 7-11 room, and it looks like you're on your way to completing many sets. The golden room looked quite complete to me; having those two gold-finished plate armor soldiers standing at the doorway was a really cool detail. You might think about switching out the shaved-ice lamp in the golden room though, as it didn't quite seem to gel with the decor (the pumpkin pie with its yummy golden pie-crust was actually quite suitable though!). There were touches of gold in many of your rooms, I noticed, which seems to be a kind of running theme in your town. There were the golden roses in your cabana room (nice rainbow customization by the way), and the golden chess pieces in your back room, all of which created a kind of unifying motif. The downstairs built on the island theme that the cabana set in the main room established, and I really liked how you incorporated the picnic basket into this room. I actually can't recall ever seeing the giant clam shells used as is (that is, without being turned into music boxes), so I never realized just how cool they looked as standalone items! The Pascal items upstairs also had a nautical theme, though it seems you are still in the process of collecting them all.
I thought that the public works projects you chose definitely fit in with the aesthetic of your town. Meldon was a really cool place to explore, so thank you for inviting me to dream of it!
