least favourite npc?

Daisy. Honestly, I can't even look at her. The only way I buy turnips is if I have her turned so her back is facing the camera. Who in the world at Nintendo thought that was a cute design?

Orville. Because he always sends me to the worst kind of islands. I wish I could hit him with the net...

probably CJ, Chip was my least favourite in the previous games too and I'm even less attached to CJ - he's cute but meh

For me Leif is useless, I got all the bushes in a couple of days and I bought a ton of them so now everytime I see him is just like well another wasted day.

in terms of actual in-game function, labelle for sure ;; i do enjoy the novelty of creating oufits centered around a single theme, but the tailor tickets are so useless! i'm not a big fan of her clothing line either, so there isn't really much that i get out of her coming except a few minutes of fun i guess lol

in terms of design, cj! i don't like how his design resembles more western-style cartoons than how the other villagers definitely feel like they belong within the game (if that makes any sense at all LOL). everything about him from his color palette to his actual face just throw me off.

I see Lief as a very valuable NPC. You may never have enough shrubs, since we are constantly re-terrafomring our towns. Plus, bushes go in and out of season. Most importantly, the clowns running New Horizons at Nintendo thought it a good idea to give us native flowers. Unless you were lucky to receive your favorite flowers as the native ones, you'll need Lief, otherwise you'll need to bother with online trading, and that also means you also need to pay for Nintendo Online if not already.

It's possible in the far future, Lief will move in with Nook's Cranny like seen in New Leaf. This would free up a spot for other visitors, and give us all the flowers we need without needing to wait for Leif..

I really hope so, since for me that space he uses in the weekly visitors would be much useful with another one now that I have my island more or less as I want. I think I probably have stored more bushes that I'll ever use lol, and I finally got all the types of flowers so it's easier to just water the ones I need to get more of them.

Harvey. Think about it, he now lives on a secluded island faraway from other civilization. He now takes pictures of people on his remote island for a living, and even remarks how people don't like calling him Harvey anymore and instead call him Harv...hmm.

jk, Label, the rip off of Gracie's fashion challenge isn't fun, the tickets aren't useful and her clothes are kinda bland

Label. The tickets are useless and I don't want to have clothes in my storage. I only do her challenges in case an update makes her useful.

Probably Wisp just due to the fact that I can never easily find his spirit pieces.
Also, I feel like he's the most frequent visitor to my island.
I guess I don't really dislike him, he's just my least favorite of the bunch!

With Wisp, he doesn't take up a valuable NPC spots unlike Label. He can appear with weekly NPC, KK, Daisy Mae, and Celeste.

He isn’t in this game, but I dislike Kapp’n.

Did Nintendo really think it was okay to:

1. Make an Animal Crossing character who’s a kappa, a mythological Japanese river monster who are known to kill children and sexually violate women? Click here if you want to read more about Kappas (it’s quite disturbing): https://mythology.net/japanese/japanese-creatures/kappa/

2. Why did they make it so Kapp’n hits on your player character (only if she is female)? The player character is supposed to be “you”. For numerous young girls playing this game, they identify the player character as “themself”. Kapp’n is supposed to be an old man. It gives off major uncomfortable vibes. Not to mention, for the young girls playing the game it could normalize that kind of behavior bring directed at them, and they wouldn’t think anything fishy because “Oh, Kapp’n acts like that, and he’s been friendly to me...” Yeah. Real life isn’t like that, needless to say.

Isabelle, she's just...here in this game.
Not to mention the villagers giving her too much credit on this game!
Uh yeah! Like I run this island she's just there lookin cute..

I hate Kapp'n. I hate his songs too.

In this game, Leif is probably the most disappointing NPC to see. It always means I'm missing out on someone else who serves more of a function. I have very little interest in shrubs, and have no need for more flowers. I'm hoping that eventually another Nookling store expansion is forthcoming and that he is folded into it again, so that he can be removed from the rotating pool of potential special visitors.

I feel similarly about Label, and hope that she can end up inside her sisters' shop or the Nooklings'. Heck, they could do the same for Kicks, just give him his own little corner of the Ables store for shoes. I sort of doubt these things will happen though.

Sahara. I just button mash through her dialogue. There's so much of it, and it's like.. exactly the same no matter which rug you choose. I get the humor but it's kinda dull after the first time seeing her. And I only get repeats anyway haha 😬
