I've never been a fan of either, but I have to give mad props to Kim for exposing Taylor. Taylor has a history of making profit on shaming others (Bad Blood with Katy Perry, Better Than Revenge with Camilla Belle, Innocent with Kanye West, You Belong With Me in general, trashing her exes in numerous songs, and even suing her fans and music teacher) so it's nice to see her being called out on being a phony.

It's very obvious she made sure to have the world not forget her fiasco with Kanye and used her victim complex to gain sympathy. Kim and Kanye aren't fantastic either but geez, Taylor goes over the top with this stuff (this link goes over why she's so overbearing).

Anyway I've been seeing things about this floating round but I didn't really care enough to read into it or anything but I just read into it now and honestly? It's so petty. The fact that Kim/Kanye recorded that private phone call and posted it to the internet is kind of messed up and it seems like a weird attention/fame grab from their side, whatever Taylor done, that's still pretty wrong. I'm still a little confused on what actually happened, so basically Kanye called Taylor to speak about the famous lyrics (as she was mentioned in them) and she responded positively and said it was cool, but once it was released she said it wasn't okay and she wasn't happy about it? Then Kim and Kanye uploaded the phone call to the internet?

All the things going on right now and this petty **** makes news?

I went ahead and researched the issue that the thread is about. Basically, there were some lyrics in a Kanye west song that Taylor found offensive, (I was surprised that this is ALL the hubbabb is about, but again...it's for cooler talk, and who doesn't love a juicy story? Although this story isn't really juicy to me, as I don't really...care about swift or kardashian). Taylor mentioned this in her speech at an award ceremony, and swiftly after kim kardashian was like: yeah, no hun, you said this was okay, quit playing the victim, and Kim had physical proof oft his which she proceeded to post on social media websites. Thus many people, (who apparently care about these things?), let out a collective gasp. There were some long tweets from both parties, but basically Taylor said something was okay and then when it got popular and made her look bad, Taylor revoked her previous 'okayness' with it. And she got called out on it. Thus showing that she is not as sweet and innocent as she likes to appear and played victim for something she found offensive.

Now, as someone who isn't 'in' on most things like this, I could be off target. This is what I was able to gather from various web sites and articles.

Now, I don't care much for Kim, but I DO like her embrace of her own sexuality. I was sort of raised that way, and it feels more...real than to try and pretend like my body doesn't exist. I like the freedom and empowerment it gives. I don't...care about these two, but I don't really have anything against Kim. She made a sex tape. She likes to get naked in front of a camera. Everyone has their own thing, and I guess you could call that hers. Maybe I'm just too open, but I like the idea of being so comfortable with myself that I don't care who sees what on camera. Probably because I don't generally have that confidence. Swift...always seemed like a rag doll to me, made pretty and because of that everyone throws flowers at her feet.

If you can't tell, I'm not part of the swift squad xD
