Do you keep the items you get from Mom's letters? Or do you just sell them?
I hold on to everything she gifts me. I also never eat the cakes she sends me. I don't know why exactly...The items feel special and I can't order them again.
I do the same thing. I can't bring myself to eat the cakes she gives me, even though that's probably what she'd want. I keep everything else too, even if I'll never have it out.
Despite playing for a year, I'm still trying to finish the set on sweaters and aprons. I keep the cakes and redecorate them to fit my kitchen designs. I have a couple of the plushies, which also get redecorated.
As you've said, you can't reorder, and the extra storage means it isn't breaking the bank, so to speak.
I've also saved every letter she's written. They're the only ones saved in my mailbox.
I've been keeping most of the Mom's items, whether I like them or not. I may need one or two in the future with future themes so its better to just save them if I ever decide to use them.
yes and no. i keep one of every furniture item since they can be customized at will, so keeping multiple of them is pointless when i don't really need them for decorating. the only exception to the rule is the mom's plush, which i have several of. i'll keep one of every apron/sweater/mat variant when i eventually get them, but not duplicates.
I always hold on to everything I can't re-order from the catalog, so yes. Though there's not really any pressing need to keep the second copies of things from 2021 (aside from the clothes, which can't be customized), but I still do it anyway.
I keep it. I am more concerned about the clothing items because those can't be customized.
Generally, I always make sure to keep all unorderable items and their variations. It's one of the reasons why I had to make a 2nd characters -- for a separate storage away from mine to avoid them from being accidentally sold or discarded.
I tend to keep even her letters unless it's duplicates like others have said. I have a sentimental feeling about them because it's the closest thing I'll have to an actual mother in life. The letters have made me cry before, the items make me smile. They mean a lot. <3 I'm happy this game has something sweet like this. It really is nice to see how life would be. ; v ;
I keep the ones I like or want duplicates, all the others I trade...I used to have my storage full so I really had to hang only on my favorite stuff (I even made an alt to keep the things I wanted to trade or extras just in case)
