A single frickin' rock in a bad location? tap left.
Finally, your map is perfec... oh wait, your other town has apples too. TAP. LEFT.

I could never town reset. I'm too impatient, and even when I plot my villagers I settle for 'good enough' plots. I hope you find the perfect map! Good luck!

Good luck, I'm a perfectionist that spent months on resetting for the perfect map. At some point you just lower your expectations tbh and know what you need essentially. It gets easier.

I did this for FOREVER, then eventually said "Good Enough" because I wanted to play so badly. I was starting to hate the game a little from the map search, and I didn't want that to happen. x3

Animal Crossing Tinder xDD This makes me smile. I map reset every time I restart my town and it gets super tedious. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my waterfall, river, town fruit, train station color, and rock placement. AND PONDS. Ugh, I hate having more than like one pond lolol. It took me three days to find a map I liked for my second town. Best of luck to you!

I think I really need to lay off the animal crossing tinder. There's been so many occasions where i've tapped left, it's probably the exact reason I haven't reset yet I just don't have the patience or time to look for a new map although i'm pretty happy with the map I have now.

Tbh i wish i had cared more when i first started bc i absolutely despise my map but have too much stuff keeping me from resetting (rares, villagers, etc)

Haha, I just spent two days on my second copy of New Leaf doing that not 100% happy with it, but I really didn't want to spend a third day doing it and I find your town seems to grow on you after awhile
