I don't see why it would, unless there is some flaws that bring it back then I can understand. Being amazed doesn't last as long as fun.
This open world type of thing with guns has caught on with tons of games, these days. It feels monotonous after awhile and I start getting deja vu. I wish there were more games that broke off from the shooter-esque controls and started doing things differently.
To reviewers a game could be a lot of fun, but not a good game. Like Army of Two :40th Day is fun but reviewers gave it scores like 5/10.
And honestly, the thing that makes the game so much fun is the grappling hook.
