You could time travel and only concerntrate on the x2 and x5 bonus ones plus collect the 300 per day from resident services machine then skip to the next day.

I have nearly 400k, so I'm not worried about it. I'm honestly glad this is happening, because I stopped bothering to try earning Nook Miles+ goals, just the regular ones, for the most part because it didn't feel like there was a way I could ever possibly spend all of my miles. I do see it being a stressful feeling for all of those people who chose to restart their islands though.

This is going to take a lot of miles if you're like me and want at least one of each Nook Mile item in each available color. Now that we'll be able to customize the items easily through Cyrus and we'll have tons of storage, I plan to work toward getting each item in each color/design variation.
Wonder what color/design variations the new items will be available in (if any?)? Probably similar to what the existing items come in. I also wonder how much it will cost to customize items and if there will be a limit to how many we can do in a day? If I'm remembering right, you had to wait 2 hours in real time for Cyrus to finish customizing/making an item in New Leaf. The Direct didn't mention anything about a time limit or limit on how many items you could do in a day, so maybe we'll be limited only by the cost.

I have 152,070 Nook Miles and 11,843,248 bells as of this post. I'm not interested in the new Nook Mile furniture items. I just want the new features that are unlocked through Nook Miles. After those, it's back to using Miles to get tickets.
I have 63 NMT but I've not had a villager want to move out lately that I want to see go so that helps preserve the tickets I do have.

Yes, I saw this. It's a good thing I have over 200k nook miles stock piled atm XD. This is why I can't understand why people wanna reset right before this update. You're just giving yourself more work if you ask me

Something like 450k at the moment, and that was after I spent a couple weeks buying like five godzilla statues a day and selling them to try and get them down to a more reasonable number back over the summer. (They’ve bounced back since.) And some days I only do a couple of the daily goals because I don’t need to plant more trees or don’t want to customize or whatever. Those x2 goals build points fast.

Good thing I don’t even use my nook miles. I’ve had them accumulating there since the game started. It’s going to be nice to have new options to buy from. I only occasionally purchase new things they add like the emotes, and such they added during previous updates. The only thing that has been left for me to buy where the nook miles tickets, but they were a pain to obtain considering how slow the process is. Most of the time I would just purchase them through the forums instead.
