No one in particular for me! Just want to experience some new villagers. I did pick up Apollo at Island 4 yesterday for my friend. And yes... I don't think I've seen a single cat yet in around 40-50 islands! Nor octopus, even though I should have seen at least one of the three. I've seen at least a few villagers where I've walked off the dock and immediately back to Wilbur to fly outta there haha.

Yeah, cats seem to be so rare.. Which sucks because there's so many of them! And that's a mood. I've seen a few villager designs where I'm like "Oh .. Oh no.. Oh no no." and I immediatly go home. T3T

I used the campsite method to find Raymond!! If you have every personality but smug, and grind a bit, you can find him in a few days!

I think I only have.. uchi, normal, lazy, and cranky? OH and snooty! So I'm unsure if that's narrowed down enough to find Raymond? I have a free slot so maybe I should get a jock? Big thinks!

Yeah 400 tickets and no Raymond is why I choose the campsite method instead to find him. Not only do I not have that amount, but also not the patience. I was able to get another dreamie in my search for him with that trick.

Did the campsite method work much better? ^^ I tried it for a year but then I also lost patience....

I’ve been saying this for the past few days and I still really think island hopping is a scam. Lol. This is after I was so traumatized when I was looking for my 9th and 10th villagers who I needed to be cranky and snooty to complete personalities in my island. I wasn’t even looking for any dreamies that time, just any snooty or cranky. Blew about 200k miles on tours and didn’t see any cranky nor snooty. I also had too many repeat villagers show up on the tours. Ended up with no one and had two randos move in. Talk about rotten luck. I was so frustrated that I told myself I’ll one-off and do an exception to my no TT policy to do the campsite trick. In a few hours I was able to not only kick those two randos out and replace them but I also got my boy Marshal. I was so happy. It was also tedious but at least it was free. Lol. I’m never island hopping again.

I forgot to say that island hopping had the feels of a night in Vegas gone wrong. You KNOW you’ll probably not gonna win anything but you just can’t stop. Lol. It really is a gamble and I’ve had my share of luck with it but I’m so sick of the cows, gorillas and hippos who repeatedly showed up. It was such a harrowing experience for me that I came to a point I didn’t even wanna leave Wilbur to check and see who’s in the island because it’s probably another loser.

Aha, I mostly agree on that! It sorta feels like... gachapon machines? Except I know have 500 keychains and none that I'm looking for. I don't personally think it's a "scam" scam though since they're very even results. There's just so many villagers and they roll species and then specific species villagers so it can take ages. The average ticket amount for Raymond calculated is around 540 I think? But yeah... the campsite method seems to be much better at getting personality types.

Yes, take a break! It can feel draining if you spend a whole day doing tours. My last chain of tours was about a week ago but i still dont have the energy to do it again yet. I really hope you find him soon!

Villager hunting reminds me of shiny hunting in Pokemon. Difficult and draining, but worth it! Currently saving up Nook Miles for a future Judy hunt. I really want my cute snooty bi-pride bear cub. I also have my campsite looking for her too. I don't have a snooty on my current island yet. I was really tested by Ankha showing up today, but it makes me feel better because I know it is working.

After I read that I saw a video of someone island hoping for Raymond. The article said smug villagers would be on the island starting at noon and the guy found Raymond at 2:30. Maybe a coincidence but something to consider. I also read that for the campsite the game tries to make sure you have a variety of personalities. So if you don't have any jock villagers your camper will likely be a jock(60% chance I believe). I had no smug villagers and my last camper was a smug. and it so happened to be Raymond. Again maybe coincidence but maybe not. I hope this helps and good luck getting Raymond

Yo that sounds pretty interesting. I know I've found Julian twice but it wasn't during noon. Was more late evening.... No harm done in skipping to that time to try. It'd seem strange to have it as a method thou...
