Is Pluto stil planet to u ?

eh idc. when i learnt about space in 2nd grade it was considered a planet but now it's not so i guess it's not a planet. but i know that is exists, i just don't really think i am The Right Person to decide if it is a planet or nah

Even though when I was little I was always taught that Pluto is a planet, I'm not gonna be Jerry and refuse to believe that it isn't a planet anymore. Technically it's considered a dwarf planet now so that's what I'm going to refer it as because the people that are significantly smarter than me and have degrees in space stuff decided that that's what it is.

Its quite shocking to see that Pluto isn't a planet anymore. But, calling it a dwarf planet, isn't it still a planet? I'm just gonna say yes.

Yes, when I was like 4, I learned that there was 9 planets, although soon later in the year it was reclassified, I actually liked 9 planets, although there were 10 planets when they found Eris it was our 10th planet

No. We discover more stuff in space all the time, so there's naturally going to be re-classifications of things, especially when previously they couldn't be researched well.

ok so if thats case and Pluto is now Dwarf planet (your not pluto we still love u) but lets say it is, by that classification as they just discovered a Super Earth Kepler something something Should Earth not be called a Dwarf Earth now ?

Earth is not within its own classification. It is just a planet.

Earth is not within its own classification. It is just a planet.

ok as i understood it Earth (as we dont know any better at this point) is Standard on which we judge all planets with life. ie Term Super Earth as the planet looks like Earth but is Way way bigger then we are so if that is true then , the Standard which earth is compared must change ie Earth is now Dwarf Earth. 1 can say Earth is not Classification but if you visit a planet that looks like earth and your from earth then it earth like ,but that alone does not change classification, what does change classification is what we dont know is if earth is nomal for it size as we dont have point of frame of

Reference to conpaire so it's not far leap from there to then say Earth is a Dwarf Earth.
