Is it rude to immediately end a wifi session?

I always say thank you and goodbye. Usually the other person I'm trading with does the same. I find it awkward when they just kinda sit there and don't move or do anything. It's like, what do I do? Do I ask to end or do I go to the train station or what? xD

I usually say "Thank you!" then end if I'm hosting.
I just assume they know we aren't staying to hang out or anything lol

I don't think it's rude!
I always say "Bye!" or "Thank You!" before ending the session so that they know.

also I don't want to forget to close my gates and then have someone come into my town and destroy my flowers, etc.

i dont think it is, i personally think its awkward if after a trade we both just stand there not doing anything while in my mind, it's like 'should i just leave by the train station? or is she/he going to end the session? my gosh hurry up and decide." so it just gets the awkward moment overwith. of course, the person you're trading with may most likely want to say thank and and everything..but if you want to just end it once its all settled, go for it. they should understand

I say bye and they do and then I end it, so no I don't think it's rude.

if players don't say a goodbye then i find it rude. but if they give me a good wifi rating then im alright lolol
