Is it rude to immediately end a wifi session?

Like the title says, do you find it rude to end the session immediately after a trade?

Sometimes I do, there were a few times when I went to someone's town to buy something and got thrown out after I said thank you. I understand why people feel the need to, they're being protective of their town and whatnot but it's not like I gain anything from kicking your paths or other destructive stuff. I like being able to go to the train station and leave that way.

I don't kick people out after we've completed a trade in my town. But I do expect them to go to the train and leave as soon as they've double checked their items unless they asked to walk around a little bit. I think if they ran off my screen I'd end the session but only if I couldn't find them.

Idk, sometimes it feels like a giant boot to the ass when it happens to me lol

I think people should at least say goodbye before ending the session. However, I like to end the session because that way, after they leave, I don't need to walk back to the train station and manually close the gates.

I don't really think it's rude. I say thank you and expect them to end it. I don't ever expect anything else after.

Like sierrawbu said, it's easier to just end the session then walk all the way to the train station to close the gates. I also expect it from traders to end the session after we finish everything that needed to be done.

I don't think it's rude. Sometimes when I'm at a town to trade and after we say thanks I wait for them to end the session. Sometimes it's awkward because I'm standing there waiting for them to end and it's as if they just want me to go into the train station and leave. Sometimes when someone's at my town to trade and after we say thanks they go into the train station before I could even end the session, so I just let them leave. I don't think it's a big deal to manually close your gates but ending it is certainly more convenient.

I don't think it's rude. Usually what I do is me and the trader say our thank you's and then I say "I'll end now." (if we're trading at my town). That way it won't be awkward for them and they won't be wondering whether to leave through the Train Station or by ending the Wifi session.

If they're trading with several other people after,or doing multiple giveaways or such,I don't think it's rude.Some people also just don't want you straying around their town after in fear of you doing something bad.

Nah, but it would be polite to do a short " Thanks! " Or " Hope to trade again sometime! " at the end before booting them out. I mean its optional, but a short thank you can go a long way.

No, it's not rude, in my opinion. I always say thanks, then I tell them to have a great night/ day. I want my trades to go quickly. I don't end the session when I'm having someone over to hang out.Hanging out and trading are two different things. Sometimes I have catalog parties, or give aways. Theres usually other people waiting their turn.So they need to leave as soon as they're finished.

Also my reason for ending isn't because i care about my items/flowers because I generally trust everyone who visits me, but more like, it's the fastest and easiest method.
Especially if it's a trade and not having friends over, generally people prefer fast smooth trades.

For me, I actually prefer getting kicked after finishing a trade, because running back to the train station takes a much longer time. However, I think it should be common courtesy that people say their thanks and goodbyes before ending the session! It just seems like the right thing to do to make sure everything's ok and there are no further questions left unanswered. It just seems unfriendly to just end a session without saying goodbye, just like it is with a phone call! D:

At first ~ when I first started trading, I was taken aback when someone ended it quickly and I thought maybe it was a little rude, however, more often than not, the person would at least say good bye and thank me, though I would be too slow to get my thank you and bye out ><

Sometimes I just make the "Greetings" emote and call it a day if I'm too lazy to type "good bye" etc. LOL.

I dont really think its rude because i think i would do the same most of the time. I can understand how people would find it rude though. It is more for a security measure for people who are doing a trade. As long as everyone gets their items that they needed, then i think it is alright to end the session right away. I am trying to finish up making my town really pretty and i dont want someone that i dont know to run around everywhere and steal my stuff or trample my hybrid flowers. I at least say thanks and wait for them to say something else and then i will either end the session myself or if i see them go into the train station then i just let them leave on their own. I dont really want to play new leaf with anyone that i dont know and only let my friends that i know really well to come and visit my town.
