That's sad that people are messaging you about your villagers. Don't feel bad and keep the villagers that you LOVE.

Most of my towns are villagers that the game gave me. I love all of them. My favorites are the lowest tier one.
I'm a huge fan of Mr. Limberg and would be crushed if he move away.

i often get messages from other people saying that my villagers are ugly and i should get rid of them, but i really cant let go of anybody in my town. i can understand why because animal crossing is a game about cute things, but ive always prefer ugly ones and it makes me feel alone when others tell me to replace my villagers with something cuter?? i love villagers like diva and beardo but i kind of feel bad about it idk

I like Beardo too and I don't care what anyone thinks. He was the first ever smug villager I got in my first town in 2013 and I hated him at first but he grew on me.

My girlfriend despises Jambette.

Meanwhile I love every villager that falls into my hands.

Also Jambette is one of my starting villagers and is still in my town to this day.

Ignore the haters. You are allowed to like whoever and whatever interests you. The sort of behavior you're getting because you like [x] is extremely petty, those people should be ashamed.

Hazel was like the best new addition to New Leaf. I love her.
