Diana showed up in my new leaf town which was mermaid theme but she moved right next to me and at first I was mad but by the time I realized that was like the coolest thing to happen somehow she was already in boxes... I quit after that lol

Bob is just a legend I love him, he just fits the definition of a lazy villager imo. Definitely still a really popular villager and probably will always be popular.

Diana looks cool too, just never had her before so unsure about her. I like most deer villagers though besides Lopez so I’d most likely love her as well.

Bob and Diana are cute! I recently got Diana myself but so far she's been really sweet! I think with just the over-saturation of Raymond posts just makes it seem like villagers aren't as popular in the past. Hopefully when Raymond becomes a bit more common, the hype will die down and people won't talk only about him haha

They're still popular. I'm not sure if you're talking about the forums specifically but I still see many people talk about them outside of the forums specially Bob. I actually have Diana in my island. I didn't want her even though she was my second snooty in line but since I have her in new leaf I wanted to try someone new but she was in my campsite and would I really pass on that opportunity? Absolutely not. She fits nicely and now she's neighbors with Lopez. That part was unintentional like Pashmina and Sherb also becoming neighbors

Ive noticed that since the amiibo dropped, the demand for what used to be popular villagers has immensely dropped in favor of those who don’t have amiibo. Just a couple of minutes ago, I saw Ankha as a giveaway, someone who I knew sold for alot on the forums without even having joined.

I LOVE THEM BOTH!! bob is one of my favorite lazy boys i currently have him in my town and i enjoy his presence. i also love diana, who i've been on the search for. i love her aesthetic and design and her house... pretty queen!!

Well, if I could choose just one cat, it wouldn't be Bob (I would choose either Felicity, Punchy or Rosie). And if I had to choose just one deer, it would be Fauna.

But that doesn't change their status as some of the most popular villagers in the game.

I mean, they're not Bill or Camofrog, but they're ok...

I didn't realize Diana was at the same level of popularity as Bob! She is one of my favorites. I'm not the hugest fan of Bob, but I have definitely noticed less of him and more of Raymond.

I love Diana, but I'm replacing her as my snooty this time around with Vivian, because I had the idea to replicate my 3 irl pets in my game. She's still in my top 2 favorite snooties though.

Diana is a villager I adore, I had her and loved her but when I decided to get Audie I knew I had to let someone move out naturally so I could adopt her, Diana made the sacrifice to move out so Audie could move in so I got her right back with amiibo and put her house in my walled hybrid garden so she has the best view in the town. In NL I had Whitney for 5 years so I hadn't gone into NH planning to get Diana but when Fauna became my first Normal, I knew Diana would be the perfect counterpart and she’s in my top 5 villagers of all time now easily.
