Is Chrissy a human?

I have a villager in my town who I suspect of being a human disguising herself as an animal. You can clearly see that she is wearing a rabbit-ear hood, and a lock of human hair is sticking out from underneath it. The only question is... why? What sinister reason might she have to infiltrate the animal people?

Simply put, AC takes place in a universe where there are sentient and non sentient versions of animals.

Its like if we were penguins and wondered why a penguin moved to a village of animals (as humans would be animals or something)

Anyhoo, yeah she looks like a human, but why she is dressed like a rabbit is unknown.

A lot of Animals in Animal Crossing have humanlike hair. Bree, for example. So I consider both Chrissy and Francine to be Rabbits, wearing some sort of hood specially designed for their species I suppose.

She's like the Invader Zim of the Irken Empire (picture him wearing that old man "disguise", and the even worse one of his "dog" (shown in the same screen shot linked above)).
