Instead you're trying to find the opposite/hypotenuse rather than the θ in cos.Tyeforce said:I see your point just fine, and it's irrelevant.TravisTouchdown said:Cause trouble? And, yes, I'm assuming. I'm assuming that you're not a complete idiot who thinks that drinking water out of a different bottle is a more different experience than playing a game on a different console. Maybe I shouldn't have assumed that, because it appears that I've been mistaken.
Assuming, assuming, assuming. Ever play an Ace Attorney game? You can't come into court assuming someone shot someone else. Just as you can't argue with your betters assuming they think things. Don't be mad I got the better of you, not everyone gets to be the factorial of a given integer. You're gonna have to stay as a smaller positive integer.
0! = 1 you son of a digit.
And I guess you just didn't read my last comment, so I'll post it again.Tyeforce said:And, yes, I'm assuming. so like the other guy said, youd rather have bigger screen than a well rounded software AND hardware update?Tyeforce said:I never said I have to. I just said that I have more reason to buy Nintendo's upgrades than Apple's upgrades. That's not to say that Apple's upgrades are bad, because they certainly aren't. They just aren't always worth buying if you already have an older model, unlike Nintendo's upgrades. That may not be the case for everyone, of course, but it is for me.David said:you dont have to buy every ipod, ill be buying a new one soon only because mine doesnt work well anymore. as for ds same goes for that.Tyeforce said:Maybe to you, but why would I want to buy a new iPod when the one I have works just fine? It's not like the DSi XL, which has bigger screens for a better experience. The music will come out of a new iPod exactly the same as it does my current one. Of course, if I get an iPod touch, then I'll have all the apps and features that come with it, but for everything that I would want to do with an iPod touch, my DSi XL does just fine, and with bigger screens.David said:new ipods are worth buying mroe than new DS'Tyeforce said:Quoting limited to 5 levels deephuge difference between the DSi and DSi XL from a technical point of view, but you can definitely feel the difference. What are you talking about? The iPod Classic (what I have) compared to the iPhone? Because I'm talking about different models of the iPhone, not comparing the iPhone to the iPod Classic. Of course there's a huge difference between those two, and I never said anything to deny that.Jas0n said:So you're saying a bigger screen allows you to enjoy the DSi XL more than an iPhone where the new upgrades allow you to do a multitude of things with different apps.Tyeforce said:Apple improves their stuff, yes, but their upgrades usually aren't worth buying if you already have an older model. Of course, the same could be said about Nintendo's upgrades, but I see more reason to buy a bigger DSi than a slightly upgraded iPhone that's the same exact size and style as the last one. The bigger screens mean bigger visuals, more room to use the stylus, and a greater experience overall.David said:LOL apples always improving their stuff, doesnt mean you gotta buy it all though. nintendo releases ******** upgrades like bigger screens. apples always redesigning for the better in hardware and software.Tyeforce said:We weren't comparing the iPhone/iPod touch to the iPad, we were talking about how Apple's product upgrades aren't as significant as Nintendo's. The iPad isn't really an upgrade of anything, so it doesn't concern our conversation.David said:just read back a bit, holy crap, wth? the dsi and dsixl are the same things, just a bigger screen on one, theres no HUGE changes, and what does this have to do with ipad? the ipad is new theres no other ipads out, its similar to the iphone and ipod touch yes, but its not meant to be used like one, it seems like its supposed to be used mainly for internet and movies, id love to have one to watch movies on, i usually watch on my laptop, an ipad would be much better for watching.
And there may not be a huge difference between the DSi and DSi XL from a technical point of view, but you can definitely feel the difference. Every single person I've shown it to (and that's a lot of people, considering that I show it off to customers at work) is extremely impressed by it. It's something you have to experience yourself to really appreciate it. Pictures and videos do it no justice.

You can now play games online, you can do stuff with the camera, there's the navigation system which can be built into apps and much, much, much more.
I fail to see how a bigger screen makes more difference or is worth any more money than the features added to the iPhone. You can say that it feels a completely different experience all you like, but I personally would prefer the experience of having all the power of the internet (and more) in my hands with the iPhone.

When did I say that? I didn't, so don't put words into my mouth. I said "for everything that I would want to do with an iPod touch, my DSi XL does just fine, and with bigger screens." Everything that I would want to do. Yes, the iPhone/iPod touch has countless apps and many features, but will I actually use all of it? Hell no. I'll use it for music, a calculator, internet, and a clock, all of which my DSi can do, plus it plays games. (Yes, the iPhone/iPod touch play games, but not the kind I like.)Ciaran said:Tye thinks out can do everything you can on a DsiXL on an iTouch...

Yes I do, my boyfriend has one. >_> You're acting as if each new iPhone model is totally different from the last, which isn't true. I assumed you were talking about the iPod Classic because I was talking about it earlier, and you were talking about the newer iPhone having a camera. Well...Andrew has a launch iPhone, and it has a camera, so...yeah. Why would you say that the old iPhones don't have cameras?!Jas0n said:You clearly don't know much about the features of the iPhoneTyeforce said:Well, he's certainly not talking about iPhone to iPhone, so what is he talking about?TravisTouchdown said:He never mentioned anything about an iPod Classic.Tyeforce said:What are you talking about? They play music exactly the same. The iPod/iPhone may have a better way to navigate through your music, but that's because they were built specifically for that, unlike the DSi. But both the DSi/DSi XL and the iPod/iPhone play music exactly the same. It's not like your music sounds better coming out of an iPod than it does a DSi. And the DSi has features that the iPod/iPhone doesn't; you can distort your music in various ways, such as speeding up and slowing down, changing pitch, and removing vocals, among others.David said:ipod or iphone do music much better than a ds, and theyre easier to carry around. i dont see any point in using a ds to listen to music.

And then iFly, but no one will buy that because it sucks.

The iPad isn't an iPod, nor was it meant to be.Zephent said:I find it funny how Apple creates something, slowly adds features and shrinks it, untill its as small as it can get.
Then they add a touch screen, and start increasing the size again.
Ill stick with my ipod Touch, or should I say "iPad nano"
It's just common sense that a product with a touch screen should have a bigger screen. It provides more room to, you know, touch.Zephent said:I was never implying that it was, I was saying that it falls into the same product line as the iPhone and iPod touch. And was stating how the iPod line was moving twords getting progressively smaller, where the touchscreen lineup (which in all honesty is a spinoff of the iPod line, though the iPad moves away from that a bit more) is moving twords getting progressively bigger.
