In all honesty I think Raymond is interesting

I see people claiming they're "quirky" because they don't like Raymond and others arguing if he's overrated. Personally, I find his design very interesting (especially the heterochromia) and I wouldn't mind at all having him on my island

Same! If I went island hopping and found him when I wasn't looking for a certain personality, I'd definitely invite him to my island

He's super sweet. I found him when island hopping. Really wanted a cat and I had a little bit of doubt because of what people said about him. Think it was overreacted because he is just so fun to have.

Things are popular for a reason. I will happily admit that Raymond in a maid dress singing Bubblegum K.K. is adorable.

He reminds me of my favourite singer david bowie (I have a massive cd album of all his songs) because of the heterochromia, so I would really like to have him on my island one day! Even without that though, I think his attire in general just makes him look very cool and unique, compared to most other villagers who seem to just be cutesy or plain looking.

Honestly I love Raymond! I have him and he brings about a different kind of conversation than all my other villagers which is why I find him super unique! I actually feel a little guilty saying I like Raymond cause I feel like he’s been getting a lot of hate

I think he’s cool. I think people just got kind of crazy about him and it got weird. But that happens with some of the villagers sometimes like with Marshal in New Leaf and such. Popular villagers get popular simply based on looks and then some people reject them bc of their popularity. Honestly each villager of the same personality is pretty much the same it’s just based on aesthetics which ones people like

I mean, popular villagers are popular for a reason. Sure, some people have him just for clout or whatever, but most people (myself included) genuinely like his design. The heterochromia is why I like him, I think he’s very unique-looking while not being super bright or outlandish.

It shouldn’t matter what people say, my sister sent me a meme that said “basic” animal crossing girls have Judy, merengue, Marina, Raymond, etc. living in their island and I have all three of those and I couldn’t careless if it’s considered basic because I’m happy. I think it’s mean to try to make people feel basic or ashamed to like whoever they like! It’s our island not theirs!

I just don't like that they've made this creature based on two great ones that have passed.
