Pokémon If you were a Gym leader....

What type would your team be? Would you be a low-levelled leader or one of the highest? What pokemon would you use and what would your Gym look like?

Personally, I'd definitely be a Grass-type gym leader. My Gym would be a giant hedge maze, with trainers scattered across it every dead-end.

I'd probably be more comfortable being a low-levelled leader. My party would probably consist of a Vileploom, Leafeon and a Simisage.

I would be the elusive Dark type gym leader, and due to the hype that surrounds me, I would be one of the last.

My gym would be similar to how Brawly gym was in the original R/S/E (am I the only one wondering how that fit as a fighting type gym?); in that it would be a maze where you can see a few pixels in any direction, but as you battle the trainers you can see ore and more around you. Also, posted around the gyms would be maps of the maze, but it wouldn't tell you where you are, so you'd have to rely on the relative position of the wall to where you are to figure it out. (if that made sense)

My team would be: Umbreon, Hydreigon, Weavile and Mega Sabelye

I'd like to be either grass, ice or psychic since those are my favorite three types. I'd probably prefer to be a low/mid-levelled gym leader, and really no idea what my gym would look like lol. I'll edit my team in soon

Grass I'd have any combination of the grass type starters since they're all my favorites
Psychic would probably be any combination of wobbuffet, espeon, slowbro/slowking, xatu, inkay and kadabra/alakazam (and their (pre)evolutions, ofc)
And ice would be any combination of lapras, frosslass, piloswine and sneasel (and their (pre)evolutions, too)

If I was a gym leader, I would be either grass, ghost or fairy, but I'm just going to go with grass because that's my favourite. I would probably have a maze of bushes like the hibiscus ones in acnl, with a trainer waiting whenever you make a wrong turn. Then at the end of the maze you should find a very tall and wide wall. There would be vines covering the wall so you would be able to climb up, and there would also be trainers waiting nearby then at the top there would be a treehouse with a ladder leading up to it.

My team would be Torterra, Venasaur, Cherubi/Cherrim, Roserade, Tropius and... Serperior. I would probably be the fifth gym leader, that's usually when all the action happens.

Praise the godly gastrodon. Gastrodon needs a mega evolution. I want me a mega sea slug. A blue one please Water is probably up there with my favourites. I always struggle to beat water gyms.

I would be a Fighting type gym leader. I would be the 8th gym leader in the region. The Pokemon I use would be Lucario, Gallade, Heracross, Lopunny, Medicham, and Mega Blaziken. My gym would require the challenger to have a Pokemon that knows the move Rock Smash. The gym would be set on a dusty terrain. When they first come in, there's a line of ten small rocks that stretch from the left side of the gym to the right side. The trainer would have to use Rock Smash on the right rock to get through, or face a challenger. On the first row of small rocks, there would be four challengers waiting within four of the ten hollow rocks. Whenever you guess wrong and break open the wrong rock, a challenger stands in your way behind it and won't let you pass, even after beating them. The second row would be 7 slightly bigger rocks with 3 trainers within some of them. The next row would be 4 even bigger rocks with 2 trainers inside some of them. And finally, after making it through the first three rows, the challenger would come upon one, gigantic rock. They would use Rock Smash on it, and once done the rock would crumble into tons of pieces. Behind it would be a path of sand with walls on each side leading to a golden staircase. And that staircase would lead to a marble-stone small set of tiles like there was where Champion Alder was in Black and White. At the end of those tiles would be myself, the gym leader.

I'm assuming that we can't have any legendary Pokemon on our team?

My Pokemon would all be different types. I would want to be one of the higher level gym leaders. I'd have: Quagsire and Breloom (adamant, poison heal) for sure. I honestly don't know about the rest; there's part of me that would want to include favorites just in appearance and the bigger part of me would want to be competitive and be really good; thus, I would have to exclude ones that I think are cute. Right now, I'm not up to date on who is really good (and I'm too lazy right now to ask some friends or look in depth at Smogon) and what teams are really good, etc...

Sometimes, instead of Breloom, I'd like to have Lucario on the team too.

For my gym, I'd probably have it have something to do with history, political science, and culture; I'd want to make it challenging, so a mixture of puzzles and trivia maybe?

I'm not really good at building a competitive team to play in the OU tier (that's what all of my friends play); I stopped playing in the process of building one (I'll eventually get back to playing). >< The team that I was working on, I was considering to make it balanced and have Quagsire, Breloom, Blissey, Tyranitar, Heatran; I was undecided about who my last Pokemone would be; it would have to be a really fast Pokemon though.

Hmm. Considering that my RL name is "Anthony" I would obviously be bug type gym leader. It can also work as a champion name, considering that the 6th gen champion's name is "Dianthe", part of her name is on my RL name. My RL name totally works as a bug gym leader or champion. But since this thread is about gym leaders i'll just do the bug type.

My bug type team will definitely have Scizor cause its my all-time favorite bug type. The other 5 will be mega Beedrill, Heracross, Shedinja, Galvantula and Vivillon. Sound like a good bug monotype team to you?

My gym would have a giant tower in the sky with puzzles similar to the ones in the app, Monument Valley (multiple perspective paths).

I don't know what I'd do for my gym. Maybe it'd be kind of like Lavaridge's, so you'd have to go through tunnels to get to me?

I've recently become really into bug type pokemon!

My team would be Parasect, Masquerain, Dustox, Volbeat, Yanmega, and Forretress

My gym would be would be very simple, but I would make a grand entrance, coming out of a cocoon in a beautiful gown, make some speech about bug types, then start the fight.

My gym would be a construction site, and as the challenger beats the other trainers, a girder is put into place so that they can continue.

My team would be: Lucario, Metang/metagross (depending on what my levels are), Prankster Klefki, and Mawile (Mega if it's allowed)

Hmm that's tough. I can see myself as a dark type gym leader (BECAUSE THERE IS NONE)
My gym could be a planetarium where it looks like you are in outer space and you walk on stars. But everything is pitch black and you don't know where the trainers are.

I'd be the last gym leader in the game. Psychic type would be my jam. My gym puzzle would consist of those pesky moving tiles from the Rocket Warehouse in FR/LG and warp tiles like the ones in the Aqua hideout in 3rd gen. The gym walls would glow a bright purple with miscellaneous objects floating in there are as if they are being controlled by a strong psychic power(books, food, furniture, etc.). The trainers on the way to me will praise me of my extraordinary abilities as a Psychic-type trainer. You would finally get to me and I would have an all-star team of one Psychic pokemon from each generation: Espeon, Gardevoir, Bronzong, Sigilyph, and highlighted by a Mega Alakazam.
