If you hear somebody mention something gross while eating, can you continue eating?

Yes, but if someone ever says something about eating soap or I start thinking about it I'll start to gag but I'll continue eating. And the reason I gag is because when I was little I used to get the bar of soap in my mouth all the time. It was really, really, really, really, really disgusting.

Yeah, I can. But if I see something gross, that's a lot different than hearing something

Nah I have to take a break or just give up entirely.
That's assuming it's my standards of what's gross though. Like if it's about something bloody I don't really care since blood doesn't gross me out but if it's... nastiness/dirtiness/other things I'm put off.
