If you have an outdoor café on your island, will you be tearing it down once the update arrives?

Probably tearing mine down and replacing it with Brewster's if the building isn't too big! My outdoor cafe was kind of a filler idea It would be cool if we got some kind of restaurant building in the future too...

brewster caffee is inside the museum to the right of the upstairs area, after the update they will add a door, so sadly we can not place him somewhere in our island, wish we had the option

I think a small cafe outside of the museum is a nice idea. Sort of how like cafes in real life sometimes have a cafe inside and also cafe outside for folks that like the fresh air.

I'm keeping mine as well. Mine is outdoor so I like that vibe while the Roost is indoor. I also have a Pho and Boba place and a sweet food truck place. I don't think you can have too many outdoor cafes unless you need the space for something else. Lol

I'm keeping mine, it's more of a dessert cafe than a coffee cafe. Plus it's with my shops whereas my museum is a bit further away so I like to imagine there's always one that's easy for a villager to reach no matter where they are, even if that's kinda dumb lol. ;; v ;;

My café is pretty small and low key so I'll probably keep it unless I need space for new items.

I have kind of a back patio area with a place for me to sip coffee but it's hard to get it to work with things around it so I might tear it down.

I had 2 mini cafes on my island one near my resident services and one just outside the shops area. Ill now get rid of that due to the new update.

I have a market area with a couple tables and a coffee stand but I'm not tearing it down since I don't have anything else to put there. I wish we had a choice of putting Brewster in the museum or of having a stand alone Roost building. A stand alone Roost building would look cute in that space and would be right next to Able Sisters.

I have a couple small cafes (coffee truck and boba tea shop) around the island that don't take up much space, so I probably wont be removing them. If anything I'd expand my cafe builds with the new items coming.

nah I think I only have one "cafe" on my island in my downtown area and I will be keeping it! I ended up not planning a space outside for Brewsters in the end which I'm happy about since he isn't getting his own building

i had a little 2nd level cliff all decked out for him ;_; it's right in-between a city and a tiki bar/nightclub/arcade situation, so i have no idea what i'll do with it LOL
now i'm thinking about the area around the museum itself... i'd love to build a little seating area/cafe next to it, but there isn't much room and i already themed that space around being an outdoor classroom...

My area is more of an outdoor diner and then I have a sanrio cafe too, I don't really plan on changing them too much unless a bunch of great items in those themes come out.

I've already torn down my outdoor cafe and made it into farm area. I wasn't happy with my outdoor cafe and REALLY wished I could make it indoors without having to use one of my house's rooms for it.

I'm glad I can make more indoor spaces now without trying to make it work by making walls out of simple panels and such.

I think it would be cute to have Brewster’s in the museum and then maybe like a little to-go place somewhere on the island! I’m assuming we’ll be able to get to-go coffees again and have the ability to display them. Maybe have a Brewster cut-out standee nearby :3

My outdoor dining area sits right off the museum, it’s more of a formal dining experience with a harp in the center. I don’t plan on removing this area.

I never had an outdoor “cafe” but I did have a restaurant that I’ll probably try to renovate with new items.

I've had 3 cafes/restaurants, but I'm probably not tearing the one i made for tbt fair last year, I still like it, but i might renovate if the update rolls out. I'll do the same with the other 2 cafes.

Definitely not. I have both a restaurant belonging to my other player character (which felt more like a cafe but luckily is getting rescued with this update) and Tia's cafe! Sure there's gonna be a lot of competition for food/drink on Utopia but each place has their own feel that I think it'll be fine.

For example, I've always felt Tia's Cafe is a good place to go for snacks and boba, outdoors. Cathy's restaurant for actual meals (as little as I could set out so far at least), and The Roost as a place to snuggle up inside with a nice hot cup of coffee.

I'm planning on making one actually.

I just restarted my island, and my original plans for it didn't quite work out.
They mostly did but one path had to go higher up than I intended.

My museum is on layer 1, and enclosed by cliffs.
The path being in a different place means I have an area, on the cliff directly behind the museum to fill that I didn't have before.

So im putting tables and chairs down there as a roof top expansion to brewsters.

Or at least that's the plan right now!

I have a small cafe outdoors and was planing to put The Roost there as I thought it was a separate building, but since it's going to be inside the museum I think I'll leave alone. This way I have one cafe indoors and another outdoors.
