If I buy a new switch can I transfer towns?

it’s sad that we can’t just transfer towns. but i have a feeling they’ll enable it in the future. because what if *knock on wood* our switches break, and bringing it to nintendo is either a hassle or you’re far. then that’s just what it is? hundreds of hours of work wasted?

my brother lent me his switch but im still bummed abt it got muffy and sprocket as starters tho, so they cheer me up

I'm sorry to hear that! If something happened to my Switch and I lost my island, I would legit mourn it like a real person dying.

It's strange Nintendo Online is supposed to offer cloud saves but half the games on the switch aren't compatible with it. Sucks Nintendo seems to drop the ball with this sort of thing.
