Ice Cream or Gelato? 🍦🍨

First, we had a thread about ice cream and cake. Here is its (unofficial) spinoff! If you had to pick either one of these two delectable frozen desserts, what would you go for? Ice cream or gelato? While I'm picking ice cream because I'm more familiar with it, gelato is something I'd love to try sometime!

I don’t like ice cream so I picked gelato even though I haven’t tried it, I don’t think.

Ice cream without question. I never had gelato where I was saying "I'd want this again" over ice cream.

My preferred choice would be ice cream. I love dairy, so it's no surprise.

I love ice cream but I have rarely eaten gelato. They seem similar to me but maybe I am bot eating the right gelato? Anyway, I voted ice cream. Really good quality ice cream is the best

I picked gelato because I felt bad that it was losing, but they're equally delicious to me.

I don't recall ever trying Gelato so by default, Ice cream wins.

I’ve never had gelato before, would t mind giving it a shot. so I’d go ice cream, colombian coffee is currently my favorite flavor right now.

I enjoy both but voted for ice cream as it’s the one I have more and love the variety of flavours - can often find a lot more choice when it comes to ice cream.

I’ve had gelato a few times and enjoyed it but only really usually go for that when I’m on holiday.

I've had both, and even after tasting some top notch Napoli gelato, I'll still go with Ice Cream!

I like gelato, but ice cream is a lot more easily accessible. If I had the choice I'd go with gelato though!

I thought Gelato was another word for Ice Cream, I definitely learned something new.

Despite being lactose intolerant, I'd still pick Ice Cream. I wouldn't dare pick the other option.
