So whenever the villagers talk about someone else they keep misgendering them. Like Mallary was saying "This is actually a gift I'm regifting from Tabby, don't tell him though" and my female friend came over to my town and Hazel was saying "I didn't really get along well with him" Anyone else experience this problem?

It's not a glitch. My villagers occasionally say this, as well as making neutral statements. Example would be after delivering an item, "I'm so glad our neighbor liked it! I knew that would suit them." I put it down to mere translation/programming error.

Yeah the neutral terms are normal but this is the first time they've used male pronouns with female characters.

I know Tabby isn't a uchi villager but sometimes villagers will sometimes call villagers a "he" if they are a uchi villager

example: "Can you take this to Rocket, he left it at my place"

But I'm still confused on why Hazel called my friend a male. But I guess it doesn't matter. As long as it's not a sign that my game is glitching I'll just ignore it.

I got Clay from a friend, and one time he was talking about my friend and how cool he is, when my friend is female. not a glitch, just something weird.

It's just mistranslation errors

Either that or that's who we know how certain villagers REALLY feel about others lol

I've not seen it on this one yet but it used to happen often on CF!

I actually enjoy this about the game, maybe they shouldn't be gendered at all, I've seen arguments about certain villagers genders before, but who says a pink villager can't be a boy?
