I suddenly like Dom?

tbh he’s low key cute... i wouldn’t mind having him although i have no idea what his personality is so i’d have to check that before adopting him hava
 
This morning I let my Maple leave so I decided to hit the islands again. 5 tickets in I came across Dom. Again. This is the 4th time! I take him every time I find him mostly because I know other people want him but now I feel like I owe it to myself to find out what everyone loves about him so much!
 
I encountered Dom twice. Once in the campsite, and then once on the mystery islands. I like him from what I've seen. Those crybaby eyes is a nice design touch for someone who's a jock. But still, I don't like him enough to invite him into my town or to replace someone.
 
He's grown on me so much recently! I've seen so many human versions of him and I think he's adorable ^^
 
I think the fact that his name is Dom, is so colorful and not ""manly"" is actually on purpose 🤣
 
That happened to me as well. I also saw this video of him from pocket camp where he was imitating a gyroid dancing. I swear it was the cutest thing I couldn't help myself. LOL 🤩 I eventually had to change the villagers I wanted on my island to make space for Dom. He now lives on my island.
 
I feel like I went through the same thing! I've been all about Dom lately. In the beginning I really wasn't aware of him or hadn't seen him. My friend recently got him and I'm obsessed! He's the next villager that I'm looking for!
 
He is super cute, but I agree I DID NOT expect him to be a jock. I also initially thought girl, and then I figured "Well, he has to be lazy" but... nope. The only way it'd be weirder is if he were cranky 😝

BUT, I actually kinda like that he's a jock. I feel like there aren't a lot of really noticeable, cute, vibrant jock villagers... like, if you were going for an island of super cute villagers, you'd probably struggle with a jock before... but not anymore!
