I need Nook to put gps on my villagers phones

This would be so useful! I had Deirdre disappear for like 4 days straight and I could not find her anywhere and then she just suddenly showed up again as if nothing happened.

Haha good idea! I love the concept of having GPS on their phones, like in (some) Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games.

I feel the same way! I’m trying to get villager photos and sometimes it’s a drag having to find them when they’re out and about.

At least bring back the megaphone! Something like this idea is definitely needed though, had an extremely tough time finding Zucker yesterday. Don't have the patience to go through every building, especially the museum.

There should definitely be an indicator for player characters though at least. I guess if you were playing hide and seek it'd be cheating but maybe the host could change that setting (for everyone) via the phone at any time. We need a multiplayer settings app anyway, letting hosts change which restrictions are in place for which people and so on.

There's so much the developers could improve via the phone, a music app, etc

This is a really good idea! There are for sure times where I have been trying to find a villager for one reason or another but have not been able to. Despite it's limited success the megaphone was a nice option in New Leaf but a Nookphone GPS system would be just great! Not sure how you would integrate this into Animal Crossing in terms of story without it just seeming creepy but I am sure there is a way you could do it. Ringing them is probably the best idea, how fun would that be! Maybe you could ring them and one of the options could be "Hey want to meet at my place!" or something like that that enables the player to immediately see the villager. You could even integrate mini-games such as hide and seek from New Leaf by having a "Hey want to place a game?" option! Anyway who knows what Nintendo has in store in future updates, if we are lucky we may see something like this that enables us to have access to our villagers when we can't find them.

They are always in the first exhibit you enter if they are in the museum. That's why you go to the art exhibit because it's just one room.

Really? Humm that's not what i experienced, or I didn't pay attention. Is there a source to this information? They have been in the art exhibit a lot, that's always the first I check precisely because of what you said, but I have found them in others

Were there multiple villagers in the museum? Usually there's just one for me. It's what I've been told when I go look for them in museum but it pretty much always worked for me. They are in the first exhibit I visit.

I wonder if you see them in an exhibit, don't talk to them and visit another if they would teleport to the next exhibit.

I didn't see multiples. But I'll start paying more attention to this from now on!

I was going to say didn't that feature exist in a previous version. I find this super annoying as well you can never find them when you want them. Yesterday I flew home and as we came into land Pietro was about to be attacked by a scorpion on the town square... well he was shocked. I landed and dashed there .... nowhere to be seen. Where is Peitro... nobody knows? Perhaps taken back to the scorpions lair?

The megaphone feature revamped into a calling system on your nookphone would be such a good idea! It'd make it so easy to find everyone. Even if it didn't function as the villager coming to where you are but maybe, rather, giving them dialogue to tell you where they are?

"Hey, (insert islander name)! I'm hanging out in the museum right now! I love sharing my snacks with all the butterflies, d-d-dude." (inspiration from my boy Cube, hehe) It would be so cute and convenient ; v; I suppose a lot of different dialogue options depending on the villager's location and personality type would be annoying to add in. It'd be a great feature though. A girl can dream!

Edit: and as others said, adding in an option to invite them over to your house would be amazing! I really miss my fav villagers popping in randomly to see me, though it had its moments of being frustrating when I was deep in redecorating and someone showed up, lol.

Yes please - my villagers disappear on a regular basis as well and I get worried (hey, I like my villagers)... I'd love for the map to show me where my villagers are, lol. I mean I don't need to know where their HOUSES are, I PUT them where they are, lol.

Some feature to call your villager would be great, yesterday I couldn't fine Ankha anywhere and then next day she was back and I couldn't find Lily! Are we playing hide and go seek but no one mention it to me....?

yes i agree some kind of villager finder is needed!! the amount of times i've searched the entire island for marina to find her chilling in the fish section of the museum... i get she must feel kind of at home there but at least give me a heads up?

yeah if the nook phone had more features like that that'd be epic. one that alot of people want to be added is a tracker for guests, but i like to play hide-and-go seek with my guests and a tracker would ruin that...

Maybe. I probably just have good luck they are always in the first one I walk into. It's annoying when they are in there though
