I understand nintendo wants to keep us entertained for a long time with acnh, but there are fundamental aspects of the game they withheld from launch that are going to cause problems down the line (even as soon as now). for instance, adding shops down the line when many people have already laid our their island plans is going to be disastrous.
leaving out characters from the game makes no sense (the pelicans and brewster for example), and aspects of the game which were added in previous games only to be taken out in acnh, such as diving and underwater creatures to catch.
as much as I love and appreciate acnh, nintendo had years to develop this game, and it seems so lacking. even dialogue and personality differences in villagers is so bland. i mean how hard is it to write more than three lines of dialogue for one personality type?
sorry, i don't mean to rant, but I feel the ac burnout coming and I’m just frustrated because if this game had the same fundamental aspects that acnl had, I wouldn’t feel this way.
we don’t even have half the furniture options as previous games. I see the same 15 items on rotation in the nooks shop because there’s like 5 furniture sets. like how do you make pocket camp, a phone game, have more options than your actual $60 switch game?
my villagers say the same thing over and over and get mad when I talk to them more than twice a day, I cant visit brewster and make coffee for my villagers, I can't go diving, and visiting mystery islands is a waste of time if you’re not villager hunting. if they had done something with the mystery islands like in acnl with a gift shop and diving, that would be amazing. at least I’d have a reason to go?
anyway sorry that was so long :')
