In reading the post about town names people are saying they can have up to 4 towns how is this?

i think that was in the past games but in this one u can have up to 4 characters

That was an old rumor. Gamespot.com fooled me saying 4 towns were able to be made. When City Folk released, it turned out you could only have one.
