Even though I love my country, I don't like the lack of gaming conevntions. I live in the UAE (United Arab Emirates). The ONLY games-related convention we have is ComicCon, and this year was the 2nd year for it. My main point is: I don't meet anyone in my 3DS in streetpass..as if I am the only one who owns a 3DS in my country. Yeah...also one more thing, when I went to ComicCon in Dubai, I forgot to turn my streetpass on..oh how stupid I was for not checking.....:(

Good job on picking one of the worst countries to be in at the moment.

It may be better than the United Arab Emirates, but there are still a lot of better countries that you could go to that aren't the United States.

Grass is greener blah blah blah.

Still, the worst country to be in is the moon.

Good luck trying to breathe there, boyo.

The moon is a country?

Japan > US imo and it's not like people use streetpass very often here, usually it's just the small kids that somehow understand how to use it or people at said conventions

Besides, US is pretty huge, we only have conventions at high populated places but everyone else still needs to travel there like you'd have to do if you wanted to go

Just cuz somebody lives in the US doesn't mean you're any more likely to be able to go to conventions. Take me for example! I've never been to any convention in my entire life! I've never had a single street pass before either!

:D...

;-;

I don't think most people get to 'pick' where they live ;)

If you are that concerned about it, then move. Its that simple :D I never had a streetpass before, and I live in UK :/ You would think 3DS' are popular here right? Wrong. Its all about XBOX's here I'm afraid >_>

Uh, Hamusuta, most people can't afford to just up and move if they don't like where they live. Especially if we're talking moving to a whole other country. |:

FUN FACT:
They had to add a spotpass feature to NoE and NoA's New Leaf because nobody takes their 3DS with them, unlike Japan, where everyone carries their 3DS.

THE place to get street passes is actually Japan's Subway system. Taiwan's Subway system will rack you up around 10-20 on a really good day. But when I vacationed in Japan a lot of younger generation are playing 3DS 10-30 while they wait for the subway at various stations. My mom also flies from Narita and she see tons of people playing while they wait in the designated areas. Taiwanese Airports are similar, but not quite as many.

You'd think that living close to London and visiting it regularly would fill up my mii plaza with tons of people but nope! The only people I meet through streetpass is my little sister and my step-cousin... :(!

Nintendo World in Rockefeller Center in New York.

We're all assuming he/she wants to move to the United States because of conventions and getting streetpass tags. If that is actually the case, and they'd be willing to leave everything behind and spend tons of money just to get here, there's something wrong with their 'logical reasoning'. I think it was more along the lines of them hating the fact that they're not able to get streetpass tags and not being able to go to conventions. Also, unless they purposely moved to where they are now, I don't think they chose to be born there or chose for their family to move there.

And the US is far from a dream country. It's got plenty wrong with it, but it's still freer than most.

One of a handful of comments in this thread that makes sense.
