How's everyone's progress with Toy Day?

So if I'm to assume you like to take part in the dressing up as Santa and helping Jingle give gifts to everyone, then I can assume you're going around trying to get everyone to give you the hints for their gifts. Or you're not bothering and just going to play lucky dip when the day actually comes. XD

I'm slowly getting them to reveal it all. Between my two towns, I've learnt the following:
Whitney: Furniture, grey
Vesta: Clothing, colourful
Pinky: Clothes, white
Rudy: Plant

Zucker: Carpet, yellow
Muffy: Wallpaper

I still need 6 villagers from my main town and 7 from my other, so I have a lot of work left for them. How about you guys? Are you finding it out quickly or is it being more of a challenge?

I have everyone's wishes, except for 3 villagers, who only gave me their wish's colour yet. There's one villager I'm ignoring though to make her move out, so I don't know anything about her yet.

Here's the info I've gathered so far:

Aurora wants something black.
Klaus wants clothes.
Ozzie wants clothes.
Hamlet wants a green lamp.
Bonbon wants something to eat.
Agnes wants white furniture.
Kidd wants something pink.

I've been running around pestering everyone since December third. I'm pretty sure Bettina, Tammy and Mallary were on the verge of taking out restraining orders on me. I've been keeping notes on letters.

Hugh: Green Wallpaper
Punchy: Brown furniture

But alas, I am not finished. Tammy moved yesterday, so now I'm going to have to wait for a new villager to move in and start stalking them until they let slip their Toy Day wishes.

Chief wants some gray food (eww).
Pecan wants some colourful carpet.
Deli wants a grey carpet.
Muffy wants a brown carpet.
Tia wants some pink food.
Kyle wants some colourful clothes.
Bianca wants a red plant.
And Pekoe wants some green wallpaper.

This is my first Toy Day, and I was wondering if Jingle supplies the gifts, or do we have to buy them ourselves?

My villagers are stubborn and refuse to give me any hints at all but are quite happy to talk about toy day.

Does your level of friendship with a villager determine if they will tell you their present wish? I've only had 1 of my villagers tell me. Granted my town is pretty new, but the other villagers will talk about Toy Day but then not tell me what they want ;_;

You get the santa set (hat, shirt, pants, boots and beard), then on Toy Day, find Jingle and he will ask you to help him. He'll give you a sack that has everything the villagers want inside. You go find the villagers and they'll think your Santa and hope you have the perfect gift for them. Using the hints you collected, you'll give them the correct gift.

I don't think the level of friendship matters. I hope not. I'll have to follow the method of stalking Wolfgang if that's the case since he just finished moving in today... Just keep talking to them and it should work.

I have everyone's clues except for Goose and Lobo. Still need Goose's item clue. Lobo recently moved in on Friday and I haven't really started talking to him yet.

Do they give a little bit of info each day? That's how I feel it works, but I could be wrong.

I found they give a hint per save and quit. On one session I got their first hint, saved and quit came back later they gave me the other hint. Spam talking may have been done for the clues. ^-^;

I've learned a bit more than 50% of what my villagers want.
Apollo wants some black furniture
Lionel wants something orange
Monique wants some kind of wallpaper
Bella wants a plant
And Gala wants something pink.

Also, I have the full Jingle Set thanks to Astro Cake (thanks again! ^^) and the full Santa Outfit. I can't wait for it to arrive (partially because of the ACNL event and the real life Christmas, but also because I'm about to start my Christmas school Break and I REALLY NEED IT!!!), but I hope all my villagers have told me what they want then!
