I've just got Animal Crossing New Leaf yesterday! But I've been wondering, what if I've collected everything, built the perfect town and finished? How do I spend days in animal crossing if there is nothing left to do? Halp. ♪

If you started yesterday, I recommend getting off of this site.

If you start on one day and then the next day have all of your dream villagers, a perfect town status, all the fruits in the world, 50 of each hybrid, etc. the game gets super boring!

I think playing ACNL for the first few months without having any connection to anyone else will be exciting!

I know that, I was just "over-exaggerating" the fact that we use this site so we can easily get the things that we want!
But if you just started, it won't be fun if you get everything from someone else!

go slow with the game is my only tip tbh. try to not TT as much or beg for hard-to-get items/sets on the forums, it'll be much more satisfying when u actually get things yourself!
if once you've reached a point when you've got everything you want, & ur town status is perfect, try landscaping. search for ur dreamies, plot them in, and start collecting hybrids, bushes, saplings n whatnot. lay out paths and decorate ur town with pwps!
if you've finished landscaping in one season, start planning out how u wanna change it next season!

take it slow and i guarantee u wont be getting bored anytime soon! people loose interest when they dont have any objectives for their town, so always have an objective u wanna get done. if ur tired of playing, take a break! once u get back you'll have new ideas for your town and the cycle will start again :)

good luck!!

Doing literally everything (barring creative based stuff, which is pretty much endless) will take you an incredibly long time, even if you time traveled or bought items off of people.

So don't worry about that.
