So, my town rating was the great galloping grasshoppers one, but now I have "I think it's riding the so-so rails! So average!" One. They say it says that I need more PWPs, but I have 11/12. What do I do to get it higher?

Do you have enough trees and flowers?
Plant a few more trees and see what happens.

Also what PWP's did you use?
Certain ones take away from your score.. Like the lighted ones and the trash can.

You need to have a good amount of flowers and trees, and no more than 10 items on the ground.

110 trees, 75 flowers, and 10 PWPs (not including the ones on main street) if I remember correctly.

basically everything everyone else said. also hopefully this helps you.

Pwp affect citizen satisfaction in two ways they can either increase or decrease nature and livability points. The only really bad one is the garbage can that greatly decreases both and the illuminated heart only slightly decreases nature points. Though you can offset the decreasing points with the ones that do increase them yes.

Public Work Projects that affect Nature Points:

↑↑↑Greatly increase:
Flower Clock

↑↑Largely increase:
Flower Bed, Flower Arch, Wisteria Trellis, Rack of Rice, Circle Topiary, Square Topiary, Tulip Topiary

↑Slightly increase:
Solar Panel, Wind Turbine, Windmill

↓Slightly decrease:
Picnic Blanket, Traffic Signal, lluminated Heart, Illuminated Arch, Illuminated Clock, Illuminated Tree, Tower

↓↓Largely decrease:
Tire Toy

↓↓↓Greatly decrease:
Garbage Can, Video Screen, Drilling Rig

The only pwp that decreases livability is the garbage can and most increase it especially the campsite, police station, and cafe.

All of these are good, but none of my PWPs affect this/ weren't listed.

What you have happened to me as well. I used to have the 'amazing' status, but as soon as I started building more pwp's I lost it.

My theory is that there's suppost to be a balance between nature and pwp's, so building more pwp's means you're going to require more nature to maintain that perfect town status. Also, trees seem to be more effective for me in getting that rating up than flowers. The concept is easy though, just means that you have to plant more trees/flowers.

My 2 cents. :lemon:

Have fun~
