How to get a 7 day free trial code for Nintendo Switch?

Does anyone know if there is still a way to receive a code for the free trial of NSO for those who haven't yet claimed one? I'm trying to help someone out who used one up on my behalf and I'm trying to help him/her pick up a replacement. I'm willing to give up a code since I'm fine with paying outright for an annual family membership. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the codes on the my nintendo website were only redeemable for a limited time.

I don't think so, they're usually only available for 1 to 2 weeks, but if you keep checking back they may put another free weekly trial for Christmas.

If you go to buy the membership, there should be an option for a test trial if there's one available. They gave out like 3 this years iirc, my membership ran out last month and I still had a free trial option.
