How picky are you guys about villager house placements? im trying to be less picky, after hours of plot resetting i let fauna move into a slightly bad spot. its not terrible but its far away from where i was planning on putting other villager houses. Also, do you think it still looks good if the houses aren't all in perfect rows?

Very picky, I can't have a house in front or behind the town hall, retail or town station.
I don't have mine in straight rows, but my houses are all on the right bottom half meaning I have lots of space to work with outside that area.

It took me about 20mins to plot reset each villager, how lucky am I lol.

I'm usually not that picky, but when a villager lands a plot in front of my house or town hall, for Nook's sake.. -.-

I'm not very picky. I've only tried plot resetting once and I don't think it's worth it. The houses in straigt rows looks kinda... Unnatural.

I think half the fun of this game is seeing what stupid decisions the villagers make and working around them. So I pretty much let them plot wherever they want, a policy which hasn't put me in a terrible position yet. I'll be curious as to whether or not I continue with this state of mind the first time I get a villager deciding my perfect orchid or the space in front of my house is the place to be.

I dont want them right next to my house, thats why theres a bamboo infestation over there. I dont really know if i got any new neighbors, i havent really been playing. ( So sad )

im extremely picky unless they plot like, one square away from where i wanted them to plot lol

In my first town: what is plot resetting?
In my second town: Goodbye Stitches, I have let you down and accidentally plotted you in the wrong spot QAQ

super picky! i forgot to plot reset yesterday and i don't care if winnie is cute, she's leaving.

The first time, I didn't know about plot resetting until I was halfway to completing the town. The plots already down stayed where they were as I had built PWP's and finished those area's. After that, I plot reset because I knew where I wanted things to go. Moving my last 2 dreamies into the plots the old villagers left took about 20 minutes. I was lucky there, but it was limited choice as I had already built all the PWP's first.

When I started my second town, I plot reset each time because I was just moving dreamies in. I wanted all the villagers on the bottom half of the map. But I swear the amount of times they would be right in front of the town hall or another building was ridiculous! All the space in a brand new town and that's where they kept wanting to be, lol.

I never plot reset. It's part of the fun, hahah. If they're in an AWFUL spot, I do it like Adele and find someone like youuuu

I didn't know about plot resetting until I was on my 8th villager but afterwards I got sort of picky and wanted them all to be in the same general area. With a bad map like the one I have it's hard but I don't want to restart my town haha.

Before I finished by town I wasn't picky at all but when I'd done all the paths and landscaping I started plot resetting for new villagers. I tried to move them all into the same spots that villagers had been in previously so I wouldn't have to change my paths at all.

Im not really picky about plots. I just start the game where witha map with bunched up houses and put my my house in that area. Usually villagers move in near that area... so tadah no problem.

I haven't ever plot reset, I have only built up half of my town so they usually end up in the perfect Apple forest lol. Sometimes they do end up by my house or in the way of my running space but I get used to it I guess

Never plot reset in my first town until my seventh villager because i didnt know it existed, but i was pretty lucky and all the villagers i kept were in good spots, and up until my tenth villager plot resetting only took a few minutes. Then Zucker decided to torture me and make me spend hours trying to get him in the spot i wanted until i gave up and put him in a spot that wasn't great but wasnt terrible.

In my second town ive plot reset every villager except for Lily who was one of my original 5 and Ken because i forgot, but I was lucky and Ken put his house where i would have wanted it. Plot resetting in my second town overall wasnt too bad, some villagers were rude but most picked a good spot quickly

I plot reset, but I'm not too picky. I just like to make sure they don't plot in front of my houses or bridge. I had a villager plot right in front of my beach entrance. That was a terrible spot. I didn't even know it was possible for a plot to go there.
