How picky are you about villager plots?

I am rather picky. For my first 6 or so villagers, it didn't really matter too much provided that they were located on the south island of my town. Then my 7th villager moved into a particularly nice spot and I put in a lot of effort into getting the 8th, 9th, and 10th villagers of my town to be aligned in a certain way. It became a real importance for my last two villagers because I had pretty much fully pathed my town at that point and I didn't want my villagers to move into an unideal spot where I'd have to work around their houses since my town is pretty compact. I think I spent around 6+ hours to get Purrl to move into an ideal spot and 10+ hours trying to get Tom to move in where a previous villager moved out @_@.

VERY picky :] It takes me so many times to place it in the right spot

I'm not picky at all. Villagers have moved into some really bad spots, but I made it work by throwing bushes around them and redoing the landscape. I don't have the patience to plot reset D:

I do plot reset, but I don't think I'm very picky. My only rules are that they need to me on the bottom half of my river and can't kill too many of my trees. Whenever someone moves in I'm more than happy to redo paths and landscaping a bit to accommodate their spot.

I plot reset until they're in a spot that isn't in the middle of a path or destroying things, but I'm generally not too picky. I do have 3 villagers that moved into a row after a few plot resets, but I don't try to get them into rows. My map doesn't allow that and I like having houses in lots of spots.

I let them land where ever they want, lol. I dont have paths so its not such a big deal for me. As long as they dont block my house or the bridges, its fine by me. :)

I'm not picky at all. Then again, I never planned ahead of time how I wanted my town to look like or where I wanted to place things. I'm really bad at that and landscaping in general :/

I am picky, I'm plot resetting right now for Savannah and I want her plot to be next to Ankha, but so far she hasn't even come close -.- I feel like it's going it turn into a Poppy-like situation where I plot reseted her for two weeks D:

It depends on what one wants from a town.

In my first town Applewin, I didn't plot-reset for a while. That because I didn't know about until more than six months into playing the game. I've plot-reset ever since.

In ACNLpics, my villager pictures-themed town, all villagers were plot-reset because, on Day #01, I created a grid of paths (original kind) to estimate where I would accept villager houses. I wanted the town to have a flow to it that was very easy to navigate because it is a kind of showcase.

In Foster, I didn't have too tight the standards from ACNLpics. I confined the areas of having villager houses, without worry over perfect location, and flexibly worked with the design.

I think the plot-resetting is motivating by the craziness of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" allowing too much in random, incoming villagers' plot locations. There is no sense to having them be immediately next door to a Town Hall or almost immediately next to the entry of the Train Station. That's weird. And I hope the next "Animal Crossing," with the mayoral concept, corrects that. It's why so many people, including myself, would like for a mayor to have zoning control.

I don't think I'm that picky. I let villagers plot where they wanted to at first and I guess I got lucky that they didn't block anything important. Now I built paths, so the house placements are set for any villagers moving in.

I am not picky at all whatsoever. I mean, is DOES get annoying when a villager has the need to trample my hybrids and Jacob's ladders, and mess up my pathways, but I never plot reset.

I'm extremely picky about where my villagers plot their houses. I'm a slight neat freak, so I like to keep everything organized and neat. In the end, plot resetting was totally worth it :)

I'm not picky...except...I did find it very annoying when Lucky and Ribbot (both dreamies) moved in. Lucky built his house in front of the Mayor's house and Ribbot built in front of my most used bridge. I've never been into plot resetting so I just live with it.

I am really picky.
I need it to be exact square by square correct.
I screwed up while plot resetting, and beau is a SQUARE AWAY FROM JULIAN.
IT ANNOYS ME SO MUCH HOLY CRAP.
I tend not to go over there.

I never thought I was too picky. A couple villagers together over here a couple villager together over there and done. Yet none of my villagers even want to go into the spaces I want them to be in....

I'm not very picky. I've only tried plot resetting once and I don't think it's worth it. The houses in straigt rows looks kinda... Unnatural.

That's how houses are in real life............

I'm not so picky that I'd spend time trying to plot reset. It became sort of a game of, "Oh you settled *there*, eh?" I wasn't dreamie chasing, so it wasn't too big a deal. Just about everyone would move eventually and I started playing a game of keep-away. To keep villagers away from my house(es), I'd choose a plot near a cliff or tucked in the bend of a river, or put a PWP out in front of my place (gardens, fountain, etc.). I was super-annoyed when someone settled right next to me, so as soon as they left, *SMACKO*--log bench next to my house.

In my main game, I try to get them in the general area, but I don't require them to be in a straight line or anything. I have a bench in front of my house and the fountain in front of town hall to keep villagers from plotting there.

In my secondary town (mainly for weeding purposes), I let them plot wherever they want. I did have one take out some perfect apple trees recently. That was a bit of a bummer, but I still have plenty so it's okay.

I'd say not overly picky. I don't want them above the river for this layout just for kicks and giggles, but as long as they're to the south I don't really care where they put their houses.

I'm not picky, mostly because I can't be bothered to plot reset. also, I don't completely understand it. I tried.
unfortunately, I do have some villagers in odd places. but I just have to deal. the only real deal breaker would be in front of my house. :| I'm so thankful that never happened. XD
