i cant figure everyone else out.

Yeah, even two villagers from the same personality can seem way older or younger depending on their looks.

For example in my currents, my 3 smugs have totally different ages: I like to see Zell as a 45 or so yo man with a mid life crisis, Shep as a pot head and childish 25 yo or so and O'Hare would be in his mid 30's.
I also view Diana as being in her 30's while Olivia seems in her early 20's even though they are both snooties.

As for my others:
- Wendy 19-20.
- Lucy 28-30.
- Chief 35-38.
- Genji 22-25
- Tammy 30-35.

The oldest in my town was Muffy, I saw her being about 60.

edit: I can't really see villagers as being super young like teens, considering they all live alone. XD

I guess I mainly gauge ages by their personalities, imo lazy's are the youngest and I used to think crankies were the eldest but a few weeks ago Bruce and Francine were having a conversation and she said she was actually older than him so idk.

I suspect most of them are children since they talk a lot about playing hide-and-seek, toys, catching fireflies, and other cute stuff kids do.

When I think about it more, though, for me it depends on their design and dialogue (no way Beardo is a kid).

I imagine peppy, lazy, and jock to be in their late teens. Crankies, snooties, uchis, and smugs to be somewhere in their early to late twenties, and normals to be in their late teens to early twenties.

I have Teddy and Punchy in my town, and when they stand side by side they look like a father/son duo.
So I picture Teddy as a young(er) dad with an 8-12 year old son.. Since we're going by human years?

Uchi villagers are early to mid twenties.
Snooty villagers are early to mid thirties.

Grumpies are definitely the oldest when it comes to personalities - if I had to put a number on them I'd say they range from 31-39. Smugs, maybe late teens or early 20's. Peppy's probably 14-16. Not sure about the rest. When it comes to species though I'm confused with cubs and bears since some of the cubs act like adults and some bears like children.

(Yes, I know some of them are the same type, but I always pictured a few to be slightly older or younger compared to other villagers of the same type).

I picture most Cranky villagers to be in their 40s XD
Peppys, jocks and lazys in their teenager years. (13-17)
Normal, Snooty smug villagers in their 20s.

This seems pretty accurate to me, although I have always though of most villagers as being kids. But then, why would their parents let them move away into a strange town alone like that? =P Yeah, yeah it's just a game.

Crankies definitely seem older than the rest. Peppys seem more teenager like too I guess.

I agree much with this. I don't want to think any of my villagers are in their young teens

A strange town with a random person they decided was going to be the mayor, at that.

Most of mine are 18+, though. If I thought of them as kids, I'd definitely feel strange- just because idk how to deal with youngins.
