I visit her pretty much every time I go to Harv's, so quite often. I don't understand what her fortunes do, though haha. I should probably look that up. I really haven't noticed any difference.

I haven't visited her in a long time. After I obtained all of the items I wanted from her, I stopped going. I don't have much use for the fortunes myself at this time (although I would have appreciated them back when I first started playing).

I feel more inclined to get fortunes in NL to unlock her shop but in NH it feels slightly pointless when a bad fortune results in her sending the same items :/

Katrina's amazing, so I visit her any time I'm playing. Tools not breaking is never not useful, I can get rid of invasive flowers thanks to her, an (almost) guaranteed gold nugget is always appreciated and getting rare islands with Kapp'n is also nice. The extra bonus of a chance of getting new items thanks to the belongings/friendship fortunes is a cool prize as well, and I'm still missing some zodiac figurines, so purification is also a great reward.

Basically the only outcome that isn't desirable is the health one.
