how much natural dirt does your town have?

i love my town, but i HATE how there is so much dirt/grassless spaces. it's not even from running, there's just random splotches of it, and i hate it, especially because i wanted to have a natural town (with dirt paths and stuff). there is literally no space in my entire town where i can stand without there being dirt visible on the screen. how much dirt do you guys have?

I have a ton of huge random dirt splotches too, I don't even know why they're there... x____x I'm okay with a couple every now and then, it looks more realistic and natural, but the huge and winding ones are kind of irritating... I always thought dirt only appeared from running.

nope, i started my town two days ago and they're everywhere. my old town only had like ten or something, so i have no idea why there's so many this time! @_@

I have random spots too. A HUGE chunk near Bella's house and she lives on a very narrow piece of land so it's literally just dirt there...looks like crap! ;_;

Is it possible to get rid of it by planting flowers and watering them or is that just for where you have ran? I really want to get rid of it because Im doing dirt paths and have heard that is a way?x

I have a bunch of my main town more than my second town, but in my second town it's slowly growing back with the snow which makes me happy since I want it to look really nice as spring comes around. I used to plant regular flowers on the dirt spaces and water them but I gave up. It worked but then suddenly that I don't even notice the grass started to disappear again. I have huge patches where mostly my villagers houses are located so I just let them water the flowers for me.

you can get rid of dirt created by running, but not the dirt that's there when you start a new town. ugh I hate my town so much now. does anyone want to come over to help me decide if I should restart of not?

That's weird... I heard the exact opposite, that time travelling gets rid of dirt patches.

guys, I'm talking about natural dirt, the dirt that's there when you first start your town and never goes away. not the dirt created by running.
time travelling makes dirt that was created by running disappear, but you can never get rid of dirt that's been there from the start.

I've noticed them, but luckily one is now under a villager's house and another under a path. There's still several (one right next to my house), but I can deal with them. I'd just suggest hiding them with PWPs or plants. Or, a few people use grass texture QRs in the really annoying spots. c:

I feel like there's almost more dirt than grass in my town. I never run in my town, either. Just walking every day seems to have killed the grass.

i dont have too much, but i wish it wasnt permanent D:
