Lots of towns named Startown. I was actually a little surprised at first when I had found out, but it's not hard for me to understand why now.
How many towns have the same name as yours?

I am going to take a wild guess and assume no one else has a town named "TorgoBay" (Torgo from Manos: The Hands of Fate).
Vale - maybe (I didn't name it)
Bascom - probably not (named after Florence Bascom, famous woman geologist)
Parcell - Maybe if they're 30 Rock obsessed like I am.

Probably several since 1. It's generic and 2. Chuggaaconroy used it in his LP lol

My town name is Oldale, and there were 18 other towns with that name... I'm surprised there's not more, considering the name's from a Pokemon game, but then, Hoenn's Oldale was a really tiny town so it's probably not the most popular choice.

My main town Serenade there are 11 besides my own
My secondary town Aria there are 50 that show up and a lot of those appear to be repeats... could there really be 11 separate towns called Aria with a mayor named Raine? Or is that a reference I don't get? Also a couple different Sydney's, Tam's and at least two Lucy with a little music note after's...
My two cycle towns are both called Madrigal and though neither has a dream address right now there are 5 others out there.
My original town was Anthem and there are 6 including my old one (mayored by Vega)
The other two names I've used are Requiem (47) and Sonnet (2-but probably 1 because same mayor)

None! My town's name is haha
1 other town has the name of Navidson, my main/OYC town.
No other town has the name of Dionaea, my second copy's town.
{Navidson is named after a family from House of Leaves.
Dionaea is named after The Dionaea House.}

Probably not many haha who names a town town? It was almost Town Town but the n didn't fit :/ oh well I don't care

Keep in mind theses are only the towns that have added their dream to the system, there could be more unaccounted for that have yet to add a dream of their town. 
That being said, don't worry, in real life there are many places have hold the same names too. No biggie, it's all about you liking it.
So far there are no other towns with my name.
