I have around 13 million bells. I got some my bells from someone who I helped store their stuff while they reset their town. I got some more when I went to their town and took some money that they were giving away.

I think I've got around 25 million split between three characters so far.

I have about 340 million in my main town. Each player has 100 million.
The rest is in different towns for safe keeping. I've pass the 1.5 billion mark without selling anything or using a device.
I do have a harvest town that comes in handy for turnip prices or premium perfect fruit day.
In two days I was able to make 80 million from buying and selling turnips. There were a lot of trips back and forth to the locker.
The turnip prices were around 650 at the time.
