I planted hydrangea bushes a few days ago yet, I still don't have any blooms. How long does it take for them to sprout?
How long does it take for hydrangea bushes to sprout flowers?

What season/hemisphere is your island in? They usually take 2-3 days from what I remember from planting them. I wonder if they aren't sprouting because it's not the right "season." Another thing is that hydrangea bushes are actually going out of season now and are moving into hibiscus season. I noticed that the flowers started to turn green and disappear when this started happening, so this might also be another thing going on if you don't TT, unfortunately.

Well i'm in the northern hemisphere but, I didn't realize they were out of season. I bought them leif so I assumed they were in season considering I just bought them from him not that long ago.
Bushes only bloom when they're in season, and I don't know if they're in season right now? If they're fully grown (size-wise) and plain green, though, that means they're not in season.
I believe the seasons recently changed in ACNH (I TT, so I'm not positive) and hydrangeas are out, hibiscuses are in.

Yeah, currently I am on normal time and I have both hibiscuses and hydrangeas planted, and both of them don't have flowers. I think hibiscuses start blooming tomorrow

I just planted those pretty bushes around my campsite to match the spacey theme I had going and now they won't even bloom?? Ugh.the bushes in season just changed a day ago. hibiscus is in season now.

tell me about it lol. I had them all over the island as fencing. Now I suppose I gotta dig them up and change them with blooming season bush to keep it thematic. it will give me something to do, but damn, i liked the purple and blue combo.

lmao i can fully relate. but for me, i have this section where the blooming bushes are in the middle of the fences with colors alternating. it's sort of like a landmark so i have to update it per season now i think. i had them since azaleas, with white and pink flowers. then when it changed to hydrangea season i made them blue & purple. and i really loved that combo, i want them longer. i can't believe how short is its blooming season!
i'm not the biggest fan of the red + yellow combo. personally, they look rather cheap (can't describe it-but whatever is the opposite of elegant lol). like, think of mcdonald's color scheme or any fast food chain. i guess it ain't bad with a tropical theme, but the area i have is more "garden" with statues and all.
