How have you landscaped your museum area?

I’m having a hard time landscaping around my museum area, particularly because the entrance is three spaces wide (I’ve got it on the second level and the inclines just aren’t working)!

I was going to do an incline either side but I only have one remaining incline to use.

Sooo I’d love to see/hear how you landscaped around your museum as I’m lacking inspiration. :)

The entrance to my museum is sweet and simple. I have some stepping stones going through a rock garden with the outdoor bath in the center, where the stepping stones branch to the museum and a little picnic area behind RS.

Nothing extravagant, but I love it.

i’m planning to have bushes surround my museum with 2 stone-lion dogs in the front. i also found a pattern of a transparent museum symbol so i plan on having that right outside the entryway - and if the roost ever comes back as a stand-alone building, i have a spot plotted for it near the museum :>

The museum sits above a park, and the river curves behind it. The bushes are hydrangea, I used the arched stone path, and between the building and the bushes are the marketplace banners from PC.

If The Roost comes back, I have plenty of room to put it in the park area.

First image was when I was working on it and 2nd image is today when I had a friend over! I was inspired by someone on Reddit who made their museum entrance similar to French hedge gardens, but mine's a lot smaller.
There's more to it (ponds etc) further down but I didn't take any screens of those since the museum garden is quite long.

It's not as extravagant as those with waterfalls and stuff around them but I'm quite happy with how it turned out!

Here are some images around my museum, though you can't really see it from further back.

Beside it, a little sitting area (that I may make a museum 'gift shop' at some point):

originally i had put it into a little forest, but i got bored and annoyed by that, so i moved the forest to a different part and the museum somewhere for now, where it isn't in my way and easy to access. we'll see how long i'll keep that up, though.

I just threw Able Sisters right in front of the museum to keep everything close together. I'm not going to keep it that way forever though.

Not yet, but I’m planning to put the museum on the town area on my island on top of a cliff.

Thank you for your replies everyone. 😍 I love them all!
Ugh, so glad you mentioned this. I just made the realization THIS MORNING. I just went ahead and threw a bush down to make myself feel better.

Right?! I moved the museum, terraformed around it and then realised... I actually don’t think it looks bad off-centred now I’ve seen a bunch of photos!

I'm really thankful for this thread, for without I never would have realized that the incline can never be perfectly centered and I can now plan accordingly.

I haven't even gotten close to my museum area yet, but I already have some ideas! Really enjoying seeing what everyone has already shared!
